Its a great kit. Good power and reliable. 3.31 gears, and for price around 4k. I bought all my stuff separate so not sure really.

How do you like it? I have a fbo 13 5.0 and I am looking into the on3 kits, and the department of boost kits. And did you get it tuned by a local shop?

For the price i paid for it, i love it. I’ll be posting a lot more in depth about this kit really soon. It runs like a bat out of hell and is incredibly reliable. I dynoed 603/540 last but have done a few things since. I always wanted a blower car... love the whine. That being said, i would say you can make a lot more power going turbo. I still think about going turbo. If you can deal with the spool time and all haha. Really easy to turn it up when u want using a boost controller and what not. But i can say im very damn impressed with the parts and engineering i’ve seen with department of boost!

Also, Lars remsen in Austin Tx is a tuning God for this kit. He has it on his car, a 2012 5.0 with a vmp gen2 and he makes 720 wheel. You can always have lund or your preferred tuner tune it, but a lot of ppl havent been happy with Lund for this kit, Lars being one of them. He bought HP tuners and had a background in tuning. He’s done over 800 revisions, and i can attest, my car doesnt have one single hiccup at any point in time. Drives like stock and brings the power quick! Ive driven it 7 hrs straight, beat the living hell out of it for the weekend, and then right back home.

Who tuned it? Lunds ghost cam is trash on my 14 5.0

Alton G AED tuned it N/A, then i had Lunds tune and ghost cam, really didnt have any trouble with it. Now that its boosted it’s tuned by Lars Remsen using HP Tuners. Runs perfect. The sound was pretty rough at the beginning because it was hunting for an idle, and also the fuel trims were pretty far off lol
