Weapon is great. You can use it as Kit module, and swap on primary weapon. If cooldown is not to long than it is great.

@@mikeward1701 Nope just a weapon slot. But you can look on it as a kid module. You fire all rounds and then change primary weapon. I hope it cooldown is like of some kit modules.

Can still AFK after you have collected your first part and return to table .

You don`t even have to put the part in. I have completed several times being AFK on this event.

I do enjoy this event. I got to participate in it last year. First Contact is probably my favorite of the Next Gen movies, and it's a good song that plays when the rockets fire off. I appreciate finding out that it's NOT part of the year long event. That was the main question that I had.

The further out you go, the greater the chance of good parts. I think there may be an achievement for height, if you're interested in collecting achievements. It also fulfils: "Harvest materials (ground)" The other ones might be handy for an endeavour using weapons you don't like

@@derlalakanal9747 I don't follow. No other ground weapon in game deals with consumable, finite ammo. And how would one reload, or even obtain new ammo. I'm guessing you are making a joke, but ...yeah.

@@matthewkeeling886 Okay, sure, but that's not generally listed as "Consumed on use." That's "x shots with x cooldown." Consumed on cooldown is like the Scorpion Fighter you get ten, or however many, and when they are gone, they are GONE.

Step 1: Uninstall STO. Step 2: Unsub. Step 3: Warn people about what a toxic garbage half ass game STO is. For a game that has been around for 14 years, I am astonished at how little content there is in this game other than "buy more ships" to do the same stuff over and over again. Even the game design makes no sense - grind to get reputation gear that you need to do harder difficulty episodes/tfos/events just to get...more rep badges for the same gear... sad part is, it wont take much work or effort to make the game appealing but seeing how empty spaceports are most of the time, the damage has been done and the rest of you are in lifeboats waiting for the ship to fully capsize. It quite honestly has to be the worst MMO Ive played in terms of game design and the ability to retain players. The Delta Event is a great example of this - make a new toon, just to play the same sh*t over again. Hard pass.
