Gerry, I think the reason the harvester clogged is because the row extended out to the outside of the reel and beyond. I have a 900 and have seen that. It never clogs with overrun on the inside of the reel, but will happen on the outside. It seems harder for the grass to be pulled in from there.

I never looked back ( pardon the pun). When we changed from loading to the right to the left. Instead of turning whole body especially the neck it was a flick of the eyes over left shoulder... Plus my bad back cleared up too..

Great video Gerry , brings back memories of doing our own silage with a pottinger Mex6 and our 3050 . Kept the cobwebs out of her 😂. 3130 on the pit , in latter years replaced with jcb412

Yea don’t push it. I turn off the boost and don’t let it up the power bar too hard. If did it bust the harvester

Gerry did you buy that smith fieldmaster grain trailer 😳 fine yoke never mind them oul herron or kane half-pipe bean tins 😅won't be hard get silage rims out smith s in carlow fine big load the smith s bring I use them an braughan trailers contractor I work with down south east grate video 📹
@gerry642021 күн бұрын
I think smith field master is pick of the trailers out there. Built very strong. Broughan very close behind. Think the northern trailer manufacturers have slipped abit. Although I do like the look of the redrock.
@jamie37622 күн бұрын
Take it u never have back filled with JF like you used to do with the old double chop harvester
@dmc206921 күн бұрын
Hey Gerry Great videos as always For the drone footage, does your drone have active track ? This would allow to set up the drone so it follows you Just a thought
@gerry642021 күн бұрын
Yes it has. It’s a good feature but the problem is it never seems to be in the position you want. And loses the subject all the time. I do use it from time to time. Nothing beats taking control yourself. Tge newer mavic 3 pro it’s probably better. Mines a mavic 2 pro
