All the marks from that farse of a dribble bar
@gerry64204 күн бұрын
Was lines from where slurry was but No slurry on the ground. Was well check before mowing. This is my 3rd year using dribble bar. Wouldn’t go back to splashing slurry. No comparison in the extra value and performance you get out of slurry The ones who give out about dribble bars have tanks full of plastic, silage r god knows what, they can’t mix the slurry, constant take loads of water out to relieve pressure when tanks are near full and then wonder why slurry its too thick or they are too thick them selves to be able to use the dribble bar and get the most out of it. 😂 I’ve heard and seen it all before.

@gerry6420 complete farse of a yoke, was just another idea the dreamt up of getting money and creating yet more red tape..
@sammorton45762 күн бұрын
I have to agree with you Gerry the dribble bar does a far better job than the splash plate at getting the most out of slurry.

Liking the new tunes Gerry!! Great spell of weather for us.....did you get time to go to the ploughing??
@wallm12065 күн бұрын
I hate when you mow grass and you can still see the slurry marks from the dribble bar!!!! This definitely helps in making poor silage
@gerry64205 күн бұрын
Not an issue here. I’d No slurry on ground. Can see marks where it had been but zero slurry there. I checked well before mowing and inspected after. Never assume….

Yea there a Great baler. This is a 359. A 459 has wider pickup for behind bigger combines and 9 more strokes a minute. So it’s even faster.

Don't get the Irish obsession with stacking bales in the field. We carry them unwrapped to the yard, simple remote operating wrapper and straight onto stack exactly where they are needed in winter! I'm sure you have your reasons though 🤔. Great to see you getting some lovely stuff baled up 👌

@@igagri4817 very little of these bales are actually going to be used up in our farm yard. I will end up selling these bales. So didn’t make sense to put extra expense on carting them home and handling them extra. Happy to have gotten it bales up in good conditions

Great job with the harvest. I bet it's a relief after the year we've had. U should put a cover crop in that field over the winter it will leave it drier in the spring and feed the ground too.
