Beautiful texture! Looks gripping but not too rough

I really like that knurling! I think it would look even better a little deeper.

I like the texture look on the handle. It adds a nice contrast to the smooth portions.

That handle is very sleek!! Do you sell your knives??

Nope, just giving them away for now. And you’re entered! I need to make quite a few and get them out in the wild to make sure they hold up before I’m comfortable selling them. Also, they take a very long time for me to make, so I need to be able to make them faster in order to sell them at a reasonable price.

What’re you’re thoughts on the tormach? I’m looking at opening up my own machine shop outside of my day job and make a few overflow parts for companies I’ve worked for. Was kicking around one of the newer 1100s or maybe a haas or robodrill

I’m no expert, just been doing this for fun for about 9 years ish. I will say it is light years better than my diy conversion that I did on a zx45 mill. Even the old pcnc1100 is built pretty well, nice double ballnut ballscrews, and turcite on the ways. Also, path pilot is very easy to use, compared to mach4, but the trade off is, it is much more limited by what it can do. Mach4 can do just about anything, problem is you need to really be an expert to use it to its potential, which even after several years of hobby use I am nowhere near.
