1:52 I agree..The STAP is probably the best designed speeder in the game, once you accommodate yourself to it’s eccentricities. Fairly stable, accurate, easier to aim, and all the space it takes up is vertical, so it’s easier to control and avoid crashing with. Really, this is the golden standard.

I don't always play as CIS, but when I do... I always start as officer to gain 200 points by buffing in the first 3 seconds of a game and respawn as a heavy riding a STAP, giving my team a HUGE advantage as the first vehicle. Then I immediately go for the middle or least defended command post, capturing it and killing 5-15 bot clones and the first TX tank. I AM DIABOLICAL! MUAH-HA-HAHA!

The speeders are crazy OP on conquest. Aside from being able to back cap enemy command posts solo, They can ability one shot many of the heroes. I usually get like 100-150 kills per round if I spend the majority of the ground combat using the speeder. Im definitely not the only one either lol

This whole thing was painfully accurate... expect the bot droids. I massacre them by the boat load. Fun tip, ride a Stap as an officer with the regeneration boosts for yourself and your team, throw on a battle points booster and augment the stap with the cards of your preference, and you’ll make at least 10-20 times the battle points per life, almost 100 times with a bit of proficiency and luck. Kite and mow down heroes while they’re distracted, and slaughter tanks and walkers by staying in their blind spots. Really, we need vehicles with extra seating, like the old games.

Aussie Stalin Actually, ALL the classes have Boost cards that can either contribute to the speeders and riders performance itself and/or the point accumulated. For raw point production, officers defiantly have the upper hand, but other classes have ways to contend. In general, the cross class cards ”bodyguard” and “survivalist” provide staying power, with “bounty hunter” crucial to points generation. Assault training is a good idea for an assault pilot. The health returned per kill will help keep the pilot, the usual weakness of the speeder, primed and healthy to engage and fall back as needed. The heavy has “Defender” witch in tandem with Bounty hunter is a good 1-2 punch, because you’re likely to get shot at A-LOT, witch will only feed you so long as you fall back or kill in time. As mentioned before, “officers presence” in tandem with survivalist and bounty hunter is IMMENSELY productive, and as a STAP only costs 150 points, a skilled rider can literally make over 100x the points back in a single life. And the specialist has the “Stealth” card, keep off the radar while on the speeder, although unless you get out of the STAP, the melee bonus is worthless. Plus, while the bulk of the XP goes to the speeder, a fraction of it does indeed go to the pilot, so it’s easy to level both up at once, especially on XP boosted days. As for the speeder itself, I prefer Reinforced hull,Cooling systems and Speeder systems upgrade, for maximum survivability and damage. But my preferences are not exactly your’s, so experiment to see your preferred combinations. Other then that, just remember to take full advantage of you’re mobility, be mindful of collision damage, and NEVER engage heroes and other vehicles head on or while staying still. They will violate a still speeder. Kite the Jedi dogs, and ambush the tanks and walkers from the sides and behind. They can be deceptively swift at times, so keep vigilant and you will find them absolutely hapless to stop you. Oh, and just to be clear: ALL ground vehicles in the game should work in tandem with the pilots Boost cards I mentioned above, so experiment for each occasion. Not entirely sure of flying vehicles, so do come back with me in regards to that information. You may say my words are ever so sweaty, but I find life in work and Leisure alike benefit from figuring out your own science to it. Reap the benefits.. and the lamentations of those broken and beaten by your hands.

Aussie Stalin And the worst of it is that: A: officers can just boost the players group around them at the beginning, and with bounty hunter and their widest range boost, that should be enough to buy them a speeder IMMEDIATELY at the games start. B: Speeders, especially STAPS, can navigate around the map and massacre any lightly stationed defenses to begin capturing isolated command posts. With good dodging, one can either capture and defend the point alone, or hold the ground long enough for reinforcements to arrive. And, say, on maps like Naboo where the points are all next to one another, one can simply patrol the connected 2 or three and do whole squads worth of work alone, while the rest of the team does as they please.
