Hannah, I think that sometimes in life we don't really know how to prepare because there are so many different ways we could do things. I believe that you will be an amazing educator and you are going to touch so many young lives by choosing this career! Once you find the right approach for yourself and your students, it's all going to feel effortless for you because you will know that everything is right. Life is about trial and error and finding those things that brings out the best in yourself and others! Congratulations of your first day as a teacher! Sending so much love your way.

This is such a cute video! I just wrapped up my 5th year teaching, and it is fun to think of what my first day teaching was like. Most teachers get "first day of school jitters" every year. :) It is so nice to hear a young person who likes being a teacher, it really is a great job!!

Also I was told that it takes about 5 years to really know if you love teaching or not, and having just finished my 5th year, I think that is completely true. This year I feel like a really hit my stride, and I LOVE my job. (I teach high school chemistry and physics)

I am so glad I have this video to look back on when I am (hopefully) five years into teaching. I love that you still get "first day of school jitters" it's funny because I feel like as a student I never thought that my teachers would be that way as well.
