First Day Of Bass Fishing 2020

In this video I fish a very secluded,shallow, stump filled creek that runs between two lakes. It is still very cold up here in Traverse City so I picked this spot because I figured it would have the highest water temperature. It ended up being a great relaxing day on the water with a bunch of catches. Thank you for watching and good luck out there this year!!

Ice melted two weeks ago and the weather was way to windy on my days off or else I would have been out sooner . But yeah its late on the inland lakes here usually end of April early May but the rivers and lake Michigan are good year round.

TraverseCityJonBoater MI worth the investment. I only fished this last winter and if you go on Craigslist you can get everything for not too bad of a price. Definitely need sonar and a powered auger. If you aren’t catching you have to move until you do. I drilled 60 holes till I got my first fish. Next time I drilled 20 but after that I learned where the fish were and only had to drill a few.

If I had to choose one though it would be the auger. If the fish are in the hole they’ll bite. You just have to figure out the depth by trial and error
