@Mikalyn Hay Make friends with people in your classes. Or just look up the textbook name and pdf or free pdf beside it. With enough google searching you can find 99% of textbooks. Most 1st and 2nd year material is also readily available online. It's only until 3rd or 4th year that the information becomes specific enough that you won't be able to easily find resources. In highly specialized 4th year courses profs specifically pick topics from many textbooks so they don't recommend buying any of them. In summary, early university info easily online. The majority of textbooks you can find with intelligent google searching. Highly specialized courses often do not have textbooks. If the information is difficult to find, you cannot find the textbook, AND the profs lectures are not enough buy the textbook. There are RARE exceptions to this rule like if the course is essential for your field because you really want that information readily available and the textbook will be useful even after the course is done. I have bought countless useless textbooks. Do yourself a favor. When in doubt don't buy it.

I went there. Everyone is so kind, they work hard but there is always something to do if you want to be social. Highly recommend going there, they have one of the best university "cultures" 😁

I just graduated Mac and my only tip is if you want to take the EASIEST elective, take the course EarthSci 2GG3 - Natural Disasters. Easy 12.

hi! if you live on residence you need to get a meal plan - this may be just because of covid, those are the only rooms available for select students living on campus? honestly i'm not really sure but everyone else who lived on campus last year were required to have one

Super cute video! I’m a second year commerce student at Mac and it’s interesting to see someone else’s day in the life on campus! Also to see the inside of another rez - I was in Matthews first year (literally the worst rez lol) but yours looks so much better! Also if you’re looking for more food options: there’s a super cute vegetarian restaurant (it’s actually really good I swear) called Bridges that’s over by greenhouse, and then there’s Bistro in Mary Keyes that’s more of a legit restaurant style! Kinda a hike across campus but honestly the food is worth it. 💕
