Thanks a lot for these videos, mate. You do an incredible job of showing us around. Nowadays, my mornings start with taking the "e-stroll" through Toronto downtown streets with tea in my hand. Even though I've not physically been to Toronto yet, I already know my way around the downtown, especially the Eaton Centre :D .. Would love to bump into you someday soon (post this pandemic craziness), while taking an actual stroll, and treat you to a hot one from Timmy's haha .. Keep up the great work, buddy.. Love from Sydney!

In many ways, Canadian Tire is essential, what if you need a part to repair your sink to prevent it from flooding.
@JohnnyStrides4 жыл бұрын
Yes but most of what they sell isn't, and it's absurd that smaller retailers are left out in the dark while someone can walk around Canadian Tire and browse toasters.

Some of these shots are beautiful for low light on the pocket 2. Do you use the standard color profile or d-cinelike? Do you set your ISO max or just let the pocket do it's thing?

amazing video! just want to ask, is the footage color graded/ corrected in post processing at all or is it straight out of the pocket 2 camera? if it is straight from camera was it shot on full auto or did you have to tune the settings a certain way? thanks in advance. I'm planning to buy the pocket 2 but is not sure about its video quality.

That is correct but it's unfair for them to be selling non-essential goods while smaller retailers are locked out IMO and provided almost nothing in the way of assistance. Cheers!

Just discovered your channel, Johnny! Great content! How are you liking the Osmo Pocket 2? I have the original version and I like it but I hate that I don’t have any zooming capabilities. Is it worth the upgrade, in your opinion?
@JohnnyStrides4 жыл бұрын
If you're a heavy user I'd say so. I much prefer the Pocket 2 but I can see why it's not worth it for people not using it a whole lot... also for 4K the zoom is just 2x (but still neat!).
@OneClipAtATime4 жыл бұрын
@@JohnnyStrides I’m not a heavy user. Most of my work is photography work (done with my canon 6D mark ii). I thought I’d use the OP more than I have been unfortunately. The zoom ability is the main new feature that appeals to me. Maybe I’ll hold off for now. Thanks for the reply, dude!
@JohnnyStrides4 жыл бұрын
@@OneClipAtATime No worries! I guess it comes down to budget? If you have unlimited money then sure, but most of us live in the real world so if the zoom is that appealing I'd consider seeing what the 1 could fetch used and use that as a discount off the 2? Cheers!

this is rhetorical question but... why is it that these mom and pop restaurants can not open and even use a patio space, yet McDonalds and A and W and Pizza PIzza etc can remain open, and don't even use outdoor space? i sure hope more and more small business owners take action on this, because there are a few doing it and even opening and taking a fine and then fighting them in court. knwo hour lawful rights etc. much love to all
@JohnnyStrides4 жыл бұрын
That's a good point and I can't think of any valid reason. If the province really cared about them they'd offer substantial assistance while forcing them to close. They have presented zero evidence that outdoor dining is contributing much to our numbers yet they're hell bent on destroying these businesses. It's disgusting IMO and they should absolutely be held accountable for it.
