That breakfast was top tier! I know no kid wants to hear this, or believes it, but cherish these days when all you have to do is go to school, because adulting is hard. Not to dismiss anyone's feelings, because I also remember what it was like going to school and just feeling that angst and frustration a lot of the times, but find your tribe and enjoy being a kid for as long as you possibly can because you'll look back and miss the carefree days! One fun thing to do is to take a picture of whatever, every single day, and put it in a folder, and on the last day of school, you'll look back and see all your memories of your crazy year.

Talk about feeling weird. I feel the same way. I had children early to ensure I would be young and healthy to be able to fully enjoy my kids growing up and be able to be there for them. With that being said now I’m 44 my kids have all finished school/college and my youngest is about to be moving out. I will be an empty nester. Anyone that reads this please take the time to do all of these special things with your kids. Soak up every single moment you can. Time really does go by way way too fast. It just really does. Kids are such a blessing. Even in your most frustrating moments just know one day they will be all grown up and you’re going to wish that time was still there.❤❤

I love how you make the 1st day of school into something to celebrate! The letters for your high schoolers are so special! I always celebrated with my kids, with our own traditions, when they got home from their 1st day of school, because they aren't morning people. This year will be my 1st year not having either of my kids home to do so. My daughter will be starting college two states away this year. Similar to your letters and gifts, I found a special 12 envelope set on Amazon. They are each printed with a different prompt of when to open them. Some examples are, open after your 1st day of classes, when you miss home, when you take your 1st exam, sick, sad, can't sleep, happy, ECT. I am putting a note and a small surprise in each one. Funny enough, I got my daughter the same necklace you bought Evie. Aaron, Uncle Buck is a classic! The breakfast spread looked amazing! I love to see Tristan in his element. Cooking for others is definitely his love language ❤ Bella, I sympathize with you. I'm not a morning person either. Aurora looks so cute!

Loved the breakfast buffet Idea. I've only 1 going back to school but we don't go back until the end of August here in Ireland and he's not a big eater in the morning (even during school holidays) so I think it would be wasted. School system is a little different here in Ireland so they do montessori for 2 years (3 and 4) but it's not compulsory. By law you don't have to start "big school" until 6 but most kids would be 4/5 (depending on when their birthday falls so summer babies usually start school at 5) they go to the same school for 8yrs junior infants (4/5yr olds) then senior infants, then they go into classes so from 1st to 6th (my son is going into 3rd class he will be 9 at the end of the month) then they go into secondary school and that's 1st year to 6th year but they have the option to skip 4th year, they do a state exam (junior cert) in 3rd year (but they also have ongoing assessments from 1st year that goes towards it) and then 5th and 6th year they have ongoing assessments towards their state exam at the end of 6th year (leaving cert) then if they so choose they can go to college or university (university is really really expensive and very hard to get in to) or we have plc's (post leaving cert) which you would pick a subject for example child care you get your qualification for that after the course and can go straight into a job or some people will use it as a back door into college if they didn't get enough points or their choice of college. It's very different I think to your system so I'm always trying to see what age the kids are to see what class/year they would be in over here.
