One of my fondest memories as a child were the Treasure Hunts my mom would send me on every birthday. I would awake in the middle of the night to a small gift and instructions at the bottom of the bed. And off I went gathering small gifts all over the house. Your Scavenger Hunt brought those memories back to me. Mom is gone now but you made me smile. Thanks Maya.

You just wanted a kiss from your hubby that's all that was. Happy bday Aladino As you most likely you already know, earlier in the morning and later in the evening you'll have more success and the more you learn your craft the greater success you'll have.

Alladino, try to hold your breath and grab a rock or sea weed on the bottom and stay there for as lond as you can, steady and easy, fishes will come right at you, not deep just 3-5 meters. You can also smash some urchins to attract fishes and do as I wrote 4-5 meters away from urchin. If you're searching inside rocks and caves you need a small cheap waterproof light. Spearfishing is something that can literally feed you 3 days a week at least. There are also shells you can gather by hand.

The standard first-aid treatment for jellyfish stings is regular white vinegar. Ideally applied with a spray bottle, 100% straight not diluted. Not sure what kind of cream you used, but a lot of things will actually make it worse.

I had great pleasure in purchasing your song on iTunes, Maya. It is delicate and totally sublime. I look forward to future releases. Thank you both for your wonderful videos and you especially for your music and poetic narratives. Love from Australia.

Another lovely episode, thank you. And Happy birthday Aladino. Cool present. A diving tip, get into the habit of holding your mask to your face when you enter the water. If it slips off, it's history.

You guys need a pair of wetsuits. They'll keep you warm for hours while protecting you from jelly fish at the same time. Make sure you get the right thickness for the water temperature you are aiming to be in. You'll own multiple thicknesses after a while to suit your needs to a wide variety of different temps.

Aladino is determined to master spear fishing and off to a good start. Love the video above and below the water and your voice has a tone I could listen to for hours. On a different note just looked up the weather in the Med, Looks kinda of crazy never saw anything like it when I was there in the navy, Hope this finds you in safe harbor.

Ouch. I sympathize with the jelly sting. A couple of years ago, I was floating in the water with my eyes closed and a jelly floated across my chest and dragged its stingers all the way across. That made for a hasty exit from the water. Thankfully, the scars eventually went away.

Get a big bottle of cheap white vinegar from a discount supermarket and sluice it over jellyfish stings. It neutralizes the venom.

first of all thank you very much for your videos, they are very gorgeous. Regarding "punctures" of jellyfishes and the most of marine irritating poisons, the best thing to do, if the area interessed is not very large, is to hot the part with something above 55/60^ celsius (hot water or a stone or steel exposed to sun) for some minutes. Almost all of marine poisons are inactivated by high temperatures. Do not hot the part if is too big because of augmenting circulation caused by the warm can augment the sistemic effect that could be dangerous, so in the case of a big area is better to go to clinic. A huge bye bye a renewed thanks!
