First day with Maya

Our first full day together as brother and sister! We adopted Maya just the day before and it's been going well so far! Maya is a little bit unsure about what's going on, but i think she's adjusting very well! We had some chihuahua play time, garden watering duties, dinner, sofa naps and long conversations with our neighbour dog! It's been fun to get to know my rescue sister Maya! Welcome to our family!

There is always a little adjusting period for dogs when you bring in a new family member. I’ve done it a lot in my life… and this was one of the cutest and most calm ones I’ve seen. 😊 Congratulations to y’all and Maya. She got the best forever home!! 🥰

I had a feeling Cedric would be a bit jealous, having been the only pet in the household for so long. But he and Maya seem to be getting along well and Maya has definitely developed an attachment to dad. (Thank goodness mom isn't jealous.) Maya seems to be fitting in very well, which makes me so happy. 🐾❤️🐾

Oh how lovely to see he has a new sister to keep her happy. I just got a new rescue puppy at the beginning of July to keep my older dog company after I lost my little chi x 2 days after Christmas. He's had a new lease of life, after a couple of days of hesitation, they get on brilliantly and always running around. Good luck with the new furbaby and big hugs to Cedric ❤❤

Cedric reminds me of a dog I lost a few yrs ago. They look so much alike they could of passed for brothers. I didn't realize how attached I am to Cedric now til I thought about not seeing him again and it made me cry. Your babies are so special and I love how well they're taken care of. Spoiled, just like they should be!!! I got the same little squirrel with the tree 3 of them and our little boy absolutely loved taking them all out and playing! I been praying I can take him with me but I don't know if the owner will let me. It breaks my heart cause he has been such an amazing loving precious boy for 6 years when I needed him the most.
