If this was from the Amish I am surprised by the mess. You're the right age to take this on. We were 35 and the only thing in Nov.1981 here was a very leaky barn and a small two-bedroom house with no insulation. Also came along three children 9,9 and 10 plus a dog. We worked hard and my husband an industrial arts shop teacher quickly added a two-story addition with insulation. By the end of summer 1982 our house had grown from 800 to 2400 square feet and the barn had a new cheap metal roof. We had a place for his tools. You already seem to have a better house and I love that beautiful barn. Keep things simple at the beginning. Each animal presents a lot of work. Now 80 we still keep about 8 chickens, a wonderful dog and two cats. And my husband has a grand new shop built in 1993.

Just found your video. You look excited to get started. I've have been doing historic restoration since the 1960's and love seeing young people take on projects like this. Can't wait to hear your plan and see your future unfold. I'll be watching. Have fun, even on the bad days.

If I bought a farm like that, I’d prep it for organic grass fed dairy cows.

Those old freezers can be used as storage for bags of grain …. No rodents can get into them.

Not quite sure why you would mow when there’s snow on the ground and everything is obviously frozen? Definitely not sure why you thought we needed to be along for the task! A little back story would be helpful, what your intentions are. Filming is somewhat chaotic, speeded up footage of clearing an attic isn’t the most entertaining! Hopefully, the next episode will give us more information.❤
