I just can't believe how Marco Rossi changed this Hungarian team into a Italian type of soccer team by playing very good defence and scoring goals from counter attacks and set pieces. This Hungarian team shows again that a good team is not necessarily a team of good players but a team of tactically astute players who can present the coach's ideas and can 'die' for each others on the playing field. We have to wait until the next game to see if they can make the final, but they have already demonstrated that it is not an accident what they are doing. 1:1 against France. 2:2, 1:1 and 1:0 against Germany. 1:0 and 4:0 against England! They yet to peak in the international arena!

Before 2016 they had not even qualified for the European Championships for decades. Then they made it for 2016 (in France they won their group in front of Portugal, Iceland and Austria) and 2020 (2021). Indeed, the next thing should be the World Cup. Some good recent results: Croatia: 2-1, France 1-1, Germany 2-2, 1-1, 1-0, Poland (in Warsaw) 2-1, England 1-1, 1-0, 4-0 (!!; OK there also was first a 0-4 -but they learnt from that). They have no exceptional stars, but have quite a few really decent players (Gulacsi and Dibusz goalies, Orban, Szoboszlai, Sallai, etc - the latter missed this match due to injury and not to be mixed with Szalai). Gulacsi, if in good form, is very good - a few years ago he earned the best goalie of the season in the German league. This team demonstrates well that the whole can be much greater than the sum of parts. By now, no team can go conceited and easy-going against them.

We DO care about it, we were pretty upset, but you have to recognize the fact that out of 5 matches we won 3 times against the biggest football nations in Nations League. And they do care about it. Germany wanted to win the competition, several players together with the manager said it. The thing is, Albania managed to win 2 times with 2 lucky goals, but thats all. We managed to play well against everyone else.

my father was an Doctorate Vietnamese International student in Hungary around 198x. He graduated, come back Vietnam and a few years later I was born. My parents set my name as “Hung” to tribute to Hungarian people. When I grew up, he gave me a rubrik and said that “Hungarian invented this”. He also said that “Hungarian men doesn’t talk too much but they focus on work”. I saw it is somehow reflection of what my father taught me in Hungarian team. While German team always brought LGBT armband and Poland’s striker Lewandowski focused too much on showing Ukraine flag instead of really playing, Hungarian just simply played and played. Football is football and just be focus on that, like the way you solved the rubrik. Though I am Germany and Bayern’s fans, I have to admit that my 2nd home country who I was named by that country’s name played amazingly today. And Germany, stop distracting yourself by LGBT/ political symbols and just be focus on football.

I am from Hungary but live in Korea. When I was living in Budapest I studied some Eastern martial arts. There was also a university student from Vietnam there who studied at a Budapest university maybe like Your father. This guy was very disciplined and humble I always looked at him as a great example. Quite a strange highlights. Beside the goal only one Hungarian chance is shown andat least 12 German. I miss Gazdag's huge opportunity in the first half when ter Stegen had an excellent save and also Ádám's try from the box in the second half. Germany did not have one clear chance in the whole match but the Highlights showing that the loss was simply unlucky...

Genuine question. As a longstanding german football fan i see the hungarian team doing reeallly well lately in every game and aspect. Thay still lack some skills compared to bigger nations but this will eventually come with time if they keep this good pace and rate of playing. All this said why aren't they in the world cup yet ?! I see this team reviving the 1954 hungarian team where they reached the final and were at their peak and i would LOVE seeing hungary again in the fifa WC.

At 2:24 Hungary had an absolutely great chance and the commentator did not say a word about it, just talking about "football god" bla bla. But not even mentioning the name of player who almost scored. I think it was Martin Adam. Kleinhesler also had a great chance and it is not even shown here? It is not fair!

This summarxy left out two very good chances for the hungarian team. As Wayne Gretzky become famous for: What is importnat is not where the pack is, but where it will be! What is importnat is not where the ball is currently, but where it will be. And as you can see from Adam Szalay's reaction to the corner - kick, he started running toward the corner of the box( 5m) even before Szoboszlay kicked it, and left the germans standing... Great goal! As he mentined in the interview after the game, this was a practised figure to play in such a situation. But it requiredd a precision corner-kick from Szoboszlai! And a One touch goal! Sorry german playars and fans. This was Not your evening. It was the hungarian's night! Thanks for the team and for the fans. Hajrá MAGYAROK!!!
