Thank you 22:35 for pointing out the reality of project work. It is really frustrating to watch some tool on a reality show do everything perfectly the first time. Most those guys probably pull the parts from the box, yack about it, then hand it over to the intern. Then they come back from their trailer and talk about how simple it was to install!

Hi Puddin', I wanted to say Thank you to yourself and Mortske for making the content you guys do. I've learned so much from watching the both of you and all your endeavors I was able to troubleshoot and fix my nieces 1965 Ford Falcon Fuel sending issue this weekend. Turns out it was the fuel sending unit ground connection, but without all the troubleshooting steps I've learned from the both of you I would have never touched the car to begin with. Again from the bottom of my heart, thank you! You guys ROCK!! (PS. I thanked Mortske also)

All steel wheels have some wobble, just in the nature of how they're assembled. I came to that conclusion when I was a tire guy for 3 years, figured out pretty quick it was just how they get made (center gets welded to the hoop, room for error and warping happens too) because every damn steelie that came through had a wobble on the balancer. Love the videos, keep them coming!!! Excited for that someday model A, but I'll never bitch about a box truck or a will it run either, you're just as entertaining regardless of the task at hand.

46:15 it should be routed into the outside of the air cleaner housing, which you don’t have. By venting directly into the intake it’s dirty crank air not mixed with fuel. But you figured it out, keep up the great videos, truck looks awesome.

Pretty sure that F100 probably had a slide in camper for part of it's life. Secure it to the hooks on the side of the bed, the extra springs to support the load and sway bar to help with it being top heavy. And that would explain why the bed floors solid since it would've kept leaves and stuff out
@jefffindley58702 жыл бұрын
So you think those 5/16 inch diameter mild steel hooks screwed to the SHEETMETAL bed sides kept a 1000 + pound camper in the bed ? My parents 1979 had a bracket that bolted into the stake pockets ar the corners and used heavy turnbuckles . Made it to Alaska and back . If you are correct, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that disaster looking for an occurrence location.

For the pcv line, run it to a fitting in the exhaust. 45 degree angle works great, makes a venturi. I also like to add a slit with a cut off wheel about 1/2" from the end too. Creates a vacuum to draw crankcase vapors, and prevent any pressure, keeps it out of the intake, and burns it off nicely. :)

I think the half haul was runninng perfect until it sucked up some dirt or water from the new tank you put on it. Happened right after the new tank install. Just clean the float bowl and squit it out with some spary cleaner and some air and put it back together with a couple of new filters right after the gas tank. I really think the gas tank you put on it had some shiitake mushrooms in it. If there is one thing I know for sure is always use a new gas tank if you dont want trouble. You could wash out the tank then use some RED KOTE tank seal on that tank. It will be good as new after that. First put a can of Heet in the tank to make sure it was not just water the can of Heet will get rid of the water.

There was a car dealer in Rockville In. that had a wheel straightener. It was like a hydraulic jack press (only with a jack on top and bottom) with a turn table to mount the wheel on and a small feeler to detect the high or low spots.

I just have my PCV hoses open under my hood. I have a filter on them, but I don't have a place to put them. The truck runs great. I also know all the Ratsun guys say to run your truck at 12 degrees btdc with the Weber, but that is just a base tune. Mine runs better at 14. Tune it with a good vacuum gauge and figure out where you get the best vacuum.
