Hey Jack. Here's a tip for cleaning engines. Ever see a cleaner called "Scrubbing Bubbles"? If you spray down a dirty engine with that stuff, let it sit for a minute and spray it down it works great. The red valve covers usually means a 292. Your 77 year old subscriber, Chuck.

That Starliner is an awesome Find. Try some Marvel Mystery oil in the cylinders to maybe free up a hung ring.. Even if that Y block needs a total rebuild, it’s well worth it. A good wash job and buffing May surprise you in how it turns out!! Great Family activity!!

Hey Jack the next time you mount a tire instead of putting the tire on your legs and scooting under the car like that stick the front of your feet under both sides of the tire and just lift it up with your toes that's what I did when I was a young man and it works pretty good

Interested in following your progress on the 60. I owned one in 62 and 63. It had the 292 with a manual three speed and I added dual exhaust, a new intake with a four barrel carb and a floor shifter. Have fond memories of that car.

Had my 68 y block totally rebuilt. Local shop,been around for years. 3400 but well worth it!
