"Guibo" is actually 'Giubo' (pronounced joo-bow) from Giunto Boschi, or flex disc 👍 Good job on the conversion - I did this with E23's but with the 265 overdrive box and the later 260. They are so much better as a manual. We had 728i's and lots were manual gearbox donors.

Didn’t the 635csi have a 3.4 with 10 to 1 compression?. If so you should have swapped it in the 4 door.

The BMW 7 Series E23 is a successor of the BMW New Six and is one overrated full-size luxury sedan in the 1980s which I think was beaten by the Mercedes-Benz W116 and W126 when it comes to comparing to other German full-size luxury sedans back in the day.
