The Sterrato is the last ever Huracán V10 derivative before Lamborghini’s best-selling baby supercar is put out to pasture next year. But before then, the folks back at the factory thought making a £250k, jacked-up, armoured, off-road psychopath designed for smashing around sideways in the dirt was a good idea. Is it? Top Gear Magazine’s Jack Rix went to the desert to find out.

Well first off you forgot about the V12 instead of the crappy 4 cylinder motor and second that pure Lamborghini sound and performance just on mud tires so truthfully its ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE A SUBARU ! The only reason you can say that cause its in the dirt ! And hell DDE has been doing that crap with Lambos and Ferraris for years already nothing really cool about it anyways !

Not just the UK. The roads here in the north east of the US get bad freezing winters and as a result our roads are often an absolute mess. I’m talkin 6 inch (over 15cm) deep potholes. If I had the money and wanted to daily a Lamborghini I’d pick this up without hesitation

It’s a several hundred thousand dollar vehicle, the fact it can do this much is remarkable, like the Dakar, and realistically this is Audi Lamborghinis first go and it’s being compared to the Dakar, which has real rally history, nah man, this is cool, the only shame is that it’s at the end of the hurracans lifecycle.

Can you imagine? The car being so comfortable as an offroad supercar that old people and hipsters would love to own and drive and with that, the possibility to have V10s and V12s in this future of electric cars? Imagine that making offroad supercars that are more livable, and more enjoyable (in a way that you don't worry too much about actually using them) is what saves the supercar from just settling for EVs and SUVs? I think Lamborghini nailed it this time. While the Urus Performante looks fun as well, is this one still having that V10 and throwing sand and rocks in the air? Man, that's truly the Lamborghini way to do things!
