Definitely wish we had some companies with that approach in the U.S. I'm not that old, but I can't stand modern cars - despite having the budget to buy almost anything, I am still driving an older manual car with 200K on it, because I have less-than-zero interest in modern tech/screens/automatic systems, etc. Hope that a counter-culture appears in the future where companies start making cars that just...do car stuff, again. Awesome cinematography from start to finish, informative review of an appealing/affordable vehicle, all topped off with awesome bonus footage of the company's race car doing race car type things in a gorgeous setting. I get servicing included for an extra £10 a month which is a no brainer for me. I literally can't complain, it undercuts competition while beating it. It might have a cheaper looking interior but that's about it really. The new one seems to have improved on all the little things that would have made it pretty perfect too. It's dependable, it's a great worker. I had a 2018 fiesta st before that and it went wrong on average once a month, I loved it even with all the issues. Working on a V6 powered prototype for racing,but giving normal folk in Europe nothing bigger than that 1.4 or 1.6 hybrid? 😒 Nice market prowess 😂 meanwhile other companies still offer 2.0's,gas or diesel. Some V6's and V8's even. Yeah, I'm good,not gonna buy a new Dacia anytime soon 😅got a 2006 old Logan to beat the crap out of it for work and stuff, that'll be enough 😂

Did anything stop working across that mileage? Shame they added televisions, loved the back to basics old 4x4.

Ive got one as a loan car.... It looks great but everything feels cheap and gutless. I dont like the pedal position either. Its offset and feels like it was designed for people with tiny feet. Hopefully it will be a reliable runaround for a week or so though. It is at least quite comofortable and the touch screen is less infuriating than some.

Ordered mine yesterday , first day for orders in the UK Keeping my old one for Farm work... Just shows how all the other companies rip you off

What spec did you go for? Choosing between Journey and Extreme... Not sure I need the 4x4 and apparently the Extreme seats are a bit sweaty.
@ianjinks40482 ай бұрын
@@WobbleFruit the extreme, living in the uk, warm seats fine by me more of an issue for hot countries…. It does have air con and I use seat covers as well in the front. 4x4, all the way.. I do a lot of hobbies that mean as much ground clearance and grip the better. It’s the best 4x4 for the money that really can go off road unlike many others wanabe 4x4 SUV’s that would rip their front valance off as soon as they hit a mud road..
@luckyjames00717 күн бұрын
@@WobbleFruit if you like off road - go for 4x4, however if you do only « normal road » you don’t need 4x4 as is high enough and light enough to drive even in bad road conditions.. i would go for automatic 4x2.. but… depends on what you need..

neither have i mate! i was born in communist romania, look up dacia 1300, that was our car in the 1980 and early 1990. everyone was expecting for dacia to kick the bucket, not be in international motorsport...

At this point the engine displacement is a bad joke on these cars. Not that it wasn't always a bad joke, the closest they ever got to a resonable engine was the 1,9L diesel on Dacia 1307. Bring a 2L diesel and I'll think about owning one. It's a shame since other than the comically small engines, the cars have a nice design and good reputation.

What’s the problem of having a small engine, aren’t these cars just for casual driving, I want one to drive around the French countryside and inner city?

I am glad he didn't say 100s. Only that country across the pond is Fahrenheit and the amount of KZbinrs that say it drives me mental.

When is this third generation (2024) released in the UK? The UK Dacia website only has the second generation (2017) model.

Indded a nice and comprenhensive review and the cinematics are uncredible. A slight mention though: min 6:25...I don't think 4x4 is available on 140 BHP hybrid. Only on 1.2 TCE 130.
