Good job guys. Looked like a fun day. My wife and I didn't end up going to halfmoon bay but we did end up in pismo and in monterey. We went out on the j@m charter. We caught more fish than anyone on the boat and we came home with 7 crabs so that was nice! Thanks for all the advise on things to do. They are still on our to do list! We will adventure again. Thanks again!!!

Moo, I love the camaraderie between you guys that was displayed during breakfast. I like watching the kayak crew because you're doing it the hard way. At 70, I won't be planting my rear in a kayak anytime soon but I enjoy watching others busting butt to get it done! I still get out and fish when I can but I like a deck under my feet anymore...not to mention a cushy seat!

Great video guys! love the comradery between other youtubers that actually care about the sport of fishing and crabbing for themselves. What I cannot stand is the Poachers! I have gotten hit so many times on my traps over the years, I have learned to stay close to our traps for now on because people just don't care, not even sure if they are aware it's not only illegal it's just unethical and stupid. This years I will be doing something special to detect poachers, I will have binoculars from a distance and recording them, I wish they would touch my traps this year, I will send the footage straight to Fish and Game and get these idiots off the water. It's so stupid to poach. Look, you're already going out in a boat. Like the cost of a couple of traps is gonna bankrupt you? Plus if you go back to shore with a load of crabs and no traps, doesn't that look a little suspicious? Fish & Game should set out some decoy traps that alert them when they are being pulled up. Maybe you can put an underwater camera in the bait cage? Need big fines to help persuade the "ethically challenged"-- loss of fishing license, boat license and a big fine for each crab.

It seems to me that more and more pots are being poached out in Halfmoon Bay, even the charter boat pots are being poached. It’s just sad that people are resorting to stealing from other people and reaping the rewards of their hard work. It was good that both of you had a good day despite the poached pot. Tuna bloodline and head is tge way to go. You only have to check your pots every ten minuts and the poachers cant get to you. Today is dec 3rd and our comercial crab season is under way and my wife and I are moving back to the coast shortly. So look for a crab shake video just fo you moo. Still looking for a sailboat so if you happen to see a 33'- 41' relatively cheap while youre in half moon bay ... please keep us in mind ... ⛵💕🌠
