First Ever 200+ Game | Mini Bowling

Just realized an editing mistake that i’ll probably get called out for, so i’ll mention it myself. You might notice the strike in the 9th frame, and the first ball in the 10th frame are the same shot. This was an editing mistake on my end, and obviously doesn’t make me look very legit. I got both of the strikes, but accidentally played the same clip twice. Wish I could fix it, little late now though :(

This Might improve your score just drill holes in the ball how deep should the Holes be to your finger nails don't make the holes to big or if you half to buy a new ball and test it please this might improve your score and just do 2 holes

What if you put your scoring camera on the bottom the the masking unit so the bowler can’t see the camera if that makes sence

Then it has potential to wobble and move. If the camera moves, then the entire scoring system would be off. So it has to be stationary.

Hey Brendan as someone who does small ball bowling (duckpin) as well as 2 handed tenpin my advice for you would be to avoid throwing much of a hook here. Yes the ball needs to break some but comets prolines and paramounts aren't designed to cover boards. Id stand right and throw in at the headpin with a slight break, similar to a Walter ray or norm Duke line. Scores should go up!

Congratulations breaking 200. I'm not sure what issues your having with your lane lights but I'm guessing your using the 5 volt power from the ardunio. If you ever want to upgrade your ball lights I can send you some red 12v led penny lights with grommets. I have a ton of them left over from a project. Dude.. love your work and your videos but, if you want better scores, cut it out with the hooking and trying to rifle the ball down the alley. Simple physics..mass×velocity[inertia upon impact]=distribution of force. If you slowed your roll (no pun intended) , when the ball impacts the pins they won't scatter out as quickly and you'll shrink the zone of confinement significantly. Plus hooking like you do with the weight of ball and pins is actually hurting your score. Remember the rule of scales. If that were a full size alley, ball and pins...the ball would be going over 30mph and the pins would thus react in a similar manner.

So, curious, you never show how your pins get reset. In your original video showing how you build it, you didn't even try it out. So basically you have a lane?
