I murdered a ball 450 in Khoury League Juvenile II when I was 16 with a green plasma. It was absolutely crushed. Kid hung me a slider and I connected with my beautiful left handed stroke. I just remember the squeal of the ball coming off the bat. Just shrill as fuck. We’re certain it was 450 because of where they found the ball in the creek bed outside the field. They even put a marking stake by it to show the distance. It was a TITANIC blast. I pimped the shit out of that thing too boy. Watched her all the way out of the park and slow walked out of the box, a little “don’t give a shit” bat toss to the dugout followed by the SLOWEST home run trot I ever did.

I used to hit the ball over the 80-100 foot gate. Then beyond that gate was a avenue that had cars going both ways. Then there was a sidewalk. Then there was a house. I used to belt homers like this using a wooden bat when I was 14-15. The best ones were the ones that went over the house. That was a good extra 100 feet past the fence. It was a field for teenagers so I think it was like 150-200 feet at most on the left wall. Centerfield was like 300-350 it was an odd field. But they had a big wall that was like 80 feet high. And I belted the balls over the giant fence and the street and over the house. Had to be at least 300-400 ft homers. I was only 14

This what I did: To calculate the horizontal distance traveled by the baseball, you can use the following formula: [/text{Horizontal distance} = \frac{{\text{Exit speed}^2 \times \sin(2 \times \text{Exit angle})}}{g} ] Where:Exit speed = 120 mph (convert to ft/s)Exit angle = 31.5 degrees( g ) = acceleration due to gravity (32.2 ft/s²) Let’s calculate it step by step: First, we convert the exit speed from mph to ft/s: [\text{Exit speed} = 120 , \text{mph} \times \frac{5280 , \text{ft}}{3600 , \text{s}} ] [ \text{Exit speed} \approx 176 , \text{ft/s} ] Next, we plug in the values into the formula:[ \text{Horizontal distance} = \frac{{176^2 \times \sin(2 \times 31.5^\circ)}}{32.2} ][ \text{Horizontal distance} \approx \frac{{31008 \times 0.5375}}{32.2} ][ \text{Horizontal distance} \approx \frac{{16658.4}}{32.2} ][ \text{Horizontal distance} \approx 517.71 , \text{ft} ] So, the horizontal distance traveled by the baseball is approximately 517.71 feet.
