I just watched your video and did my injections, wish i would have saw this a year and a half ago. Anyway I'm guessing you go opposite side or shoulder every other time? And do you have any suggestions on any other injection sites the chest or upper thigh with the same needle and gauge size?

Not sure if that naked vial floating in warm water is a good thing. I would keep that in a sealed ziploc bag to do that. For those of us that use small amounts from a 10 ml vial like that....it’s imperative that we keep the top of that vial as clean and germ free as possible. There will be many piercings of that rubber over a few months.

Great vid. I’ve been pinning alternating delts daily micro doses for 3 years. One tip I’d give you is, when injecting air into vial prior to drawing test, inject a full cc. Increases vial pressure and makes the draw much quicker. Also, draw slightly more (.005cc) more than what you need, flick syringe, then push back until one small drop comes out of needle. This way you are ensuring two things.. 1) no air in syringe 2) you have exact amount you want to draw up instead of say .195 test and .005 air. Hope that makes sense. Love your vids. @@ATM-vk3gx on the delt it's shallow IM. On the ventroglute for example, it depends on your body fat %. But if you're not a fatty you can usually just press down a bit on the skin when you stab yourself and it will reach the muscle easily.

Does that beat up your delts? I've been injecting .2ml x3 a week in the love handles with a 1/2" needle. Would like to switch to delts, but was concerned about the 3rd day pin and if that's too soon to inject in the same arm. Meaning... one arm would be getting it Monday and Friday.

I like the easy touch 27g 1/2” with a .5ml barrel. The smaller barrel allows easier drawing and pushing and is slightly more accurate for dosing. I love your vids. Helped me do much in the beginning!!

Any reason you prefer backloading with insulin needles? I’ve done both, and definitely notice more pain using the same needle for drawing and injecting. Plus it’s like .15c per syringe, so not a big deal. Sometimes I’m lazy and just use the same one, but usually regret it afterwards.

@@-TheRealScubasteve- Insulin syringes allow for subcutaneous injection. Dr. John Crisler was a huge proponent of SubQ injections of T. He stated that "80 mg of subQ testosterone has the effect of a 100 mg of testosterone administered intramuscularly". Blackloading cuts the time in half. Insulin needles are thin and due to the viscosity of testosterone it takes a long time to get into the syringe the normal route.

Yes, mine is half an inch. The soreness could be due to the needle being too long, or you may have punctured a vein on the way in. If you want to try delt again, try the other side next time and maybe a shorter needle. It doesn’t have to be as short as mine but less than an inch.

FYI. To make it easier always inject the same amount of air first into the vial then it'll be so much easier and faster to pull out oil into the syringe. You won't even need to warm it up. 👍

I use 27 1/2inch. Currently injecting 100mg 2x week. Just got my results back. 1500 test 35 estrogen. Originally I was 400 test with 22 estrogen. But I am feeling the estrogen quite a bit with low libido. So I am now injecting 80mg 2x week. Hoping my estrogen goes down to wear it was.

My urologist wants me to go to his office every two weeks to take the 200mg injections put on there(it would cost me 25 dollars each time for my deductible But he just went on vacation and left me hanging without the first injection until September 26th when he comes back from vacation, knowing that I am in an extremely low testosterone level at only six(6) T level with all my terrible bad symptoms being so low with barely any testosterone levels on my system. My insurance copay is 25 each visit and 48 dollars for 3 small vials of T-Cypionate of one 200mg/1ml single dose each vial. Will it be better to just pay 195 dollars a month in a TRT Clinic instead, that would give me a 200mg dose every week, with two additional medication for side effects, to reach my personal goal on the higher scale levels, instead of what my urologist wants to prescribe which is only 200mg every two weeks and probably just to make me reach the lowest minimum scale levels and without any other medications to prevent shrinkage and other side effects issues. Just the T injections. Any opinions on this? Thanks.

Forgive my slow reply. I think you’ll have to weigh out what’s more important to you personally. Either: 1. Saving money but having someone else be in control of when you get the injection. Or 2. Pay more money but have total control of your injections. By the way, the TRT clinics sometimes give you those large dosage amounts (200mg/week is a lot) so that you’ll need the other drugs to keep your levels right. At 200mg/week you’ll have to take an AI, which they can then charge you for. So just be aware that they like to give you more than you need sometimes. Hope this helps.

Horrible way to pin. Sit down on a chair and let your arm hang down, resting your elbow against your knee. Use your other arm to pin , you will find its very easy this way. Also, please dont inject the Testosterone as quick as he did. You will get lumps and other issues. Youre eelcome.

I can inject in my delt and my glute just fine, but it makes me feel weird when I think about a quad injection. Not sure why. And as for using a larger gauge to draw with. Yes, I could do that, but then I'd have to back fill the injecting syringe since the needles don't detach from the syringe. And I don't want to mess with back filling. Plus, it's working for me so, "If it ain't broke" ya know. Thanks again for your questions. God bless.

28 gage isn’t much of a harpoon, but with the small amount you are injecting, you can use a 30 gage 1/2” .3cc insulin syringe, and find it easier to accurately draw, with virtually no wasted T left inside the tiny needle shaft.

To some guys this would be a subcutaneous injection if they had a decent layer of fat around their shoulder. That’s still ok if subQ still gets your levels where you want. It takes trial and error and I found my levels were slightly lower overall....which is prob ok also. It just depends on your symptoms.

200mg equals approx 1000 points on test level but I was taught by bodybuilders but I can say seems to be accurate 5 days after 250mg shot I was at 1159ngdl never had free test tested but I can say after taking provirine I feel so much better. I see that your using a 10ml bottle. Pharmacist gave me a bunch of 1ml bottles because the test expires after 28days. Any truth behind that? Seems like a 10ml bottle would be easier to use than struggling with the 1ml.

Supposedly there is an expiration one you pierce the vial, but I've been prescribed a 10mL vials off and on for years. Haven't seen an issue. I do think having the smaller vials could be better though incase it does lose some of it's potency there towards the end.

If you're lean and see veins you'll definitely hit muscle. Some people even us a little longer needle for delts. But the glute is the largest muscle so glute injections, using a 1" needle will definitely work. It's up to you.

So how’s it going a month later? You sticking with the delts? I’ve been doing delts for 3 months and have done well with it up until my last two shots. For some reason the last two shots hurt like crazy with a 27g 1/2”, and the test E leaked out of my delt even though the needle stayed in for 10 seconds. Not sure if I got scar tissue build up that fast or something else. Not really wanting to do my glutes with a larger needle. Thanks for watching and for checking in. Yes, still doing the delt injections and very happy with it. I will say that I’ve found that my delts are a lot less forgiving than my glutes were. A few times I’ve injected in a certain spot and (before administering the T) found it was way more uncomfortable that it should be. So I take it out and move about half an inch in another direction and try again. That usually works. So besides that I’m happy with the delts so far. No, I don't have proper levels of natural test. I was diagnosed with low testosterone, which is why I was having all my negative symptoms. There's not really any natural test to shut down. This level is working well for me so I'm good. Thanks for watching.

I think we all start trying to change locations and needles over time. I’m absolutely sold on insulin needles. I actually use a 29gauge. Yes it takes a long time to draw. But like you I’m fanatical about not wasting my juice. I was doing dealt for a while nothing against it whatsoever it was the second best spot I found. The quad and abdominal injections both left small sore spots that I I’m happy to do without.

You can also buy a cheap coffee mug warmer or candle warmer to warm up the oil. It will flow MUCH easier, 5x+ faster. For just about $15 :) Just put your vial on the warmer for an hour or so until hot (I leave mine on it all the time). Then take it off and let it cool for 5 minutes so it's not too hot, but still warm. Night and day difference.

generally unnecessary if your angle is right. Enter at a 90 degree angle, perpendicular to the shoulder, and there’s a very very small chance you’re in a vein, and in the event you are, you’re likely not fully in it because of how the bevel on the needle works.

For those who don’t like backfilling, but also don’t want to use the same needle for drawing and injecting, I’ve got a tip for you! Buy yourself some luerlock syringes and needles! I draw with a 23g 1.5” then pull all the fluid back into the syringe, then switch the needle and inject with either a 30g 1/2” for delts or a 26g 5/8 in the quads. If you don’t have lean legs I’d recommend a 25g 1” for quads. Least painful method I have found in 5yrs of TRT

@@ATM-vk3gx It’s basically shallow IM, sometimes I’ll have a little oil seep out under the skin and leave a tiny bump, but I don’t think it’s the same deal as subq as it sits right on top of the muscle rather than in the fat.

Glutes are the best for intramuscular injection. No pain. Far less chances of hitting a blood vessel. If there is a infection it will be in your glute instead of your quad. Much better to treat. Started pinning glutes over 10yrs ago

Hey man, nice injection. 28 gauge is nice. I go in the thigh with 25 gauge 1” long it’s not too bad! If I get tired of that maybe I’ll try the delt but I’m think I may need longer than half inch.

@@dahnke1325 hello, I never injected into my thigh muscle, I did all my SubQ. Depending how lean one is, you might get a portion of the needle into to the muscle

Hmmm...that's odd to me. All I can guess is that you accidentally hit a vein? Or may injected too low on the shoulder and hit the major nerve that crosses the shoulder. I'm not sure. I've never had that happen.

I feel ya. I’m a firefighter for 25 years and have always been in good shape because I raced dirt bikes along with downhill mountain biking ( what you see on Red Bull tv). My last wreck I went over the bars 45 ft in the air slamming my privates which caused permanent damage to my testes. After 6 months of massive headaches/ weakness with vomiting I went back to the doctor. I only had 3 ng/dL!!! The doctor was shocked. They rested me also for a brain tumor which wasn’t there. The last time I pinned my delt I got a shooting pain in my chest immediately. Stinging and burning in my heart. Used a half inch 31g pin. Where did I go wrong? Never had a single problem using 27g 1 inch insulin pins but after that shot I never went back. Any input helps thanks.

I'm sorry to hear about that. Must have been shocking. I'll I can think of is the large nerve that goes across the bottom of the deltoid muscle. But it's lower down on the delt. If you were injecting in the triangle area they recommend (google it if you've never heard of that) then I'm not sure what that could have been. What I've starting doing is injecting slowly. Sometimes on the way down into the muscle I can tell I've hit something sensitive (like maybe a vein), so I back up a little then change the angle slightly. That's helped me a lot.

For me what it does is get my levels back to exactly where they need to be. We're all different and that amount works perfectly for me. Not too high that I need an AI, but not too low that my negative symptoms come back. It's just right.

I started injecting delts and it's been that way since. Delts are easy and painless. 23 ga. works best for testosterone.

You could use a 3mL syringe if the needle isn’t too long. If it’s 1” or longer just be careful. Since the delt is a much smaller muscle than your glute or quad, you might inject too deep and hit bone. If your delts are pretty thick (either with muscle or…insulation 😁) you might be ok.
