A girl group called Wonder Girls worked with Akon years ago and a famous Korean artist named G-Dragon worked with Missy Elliot. And Gangnam Style was huge a few years ago. Korean artist sell out millions of seats and have many sold out arenas when they perform in the U.S. 2. Just a lil background on EXO: They're a group from SM Entertainment (One of the biggest entertainment companies in Korea). They used to have 12 members, but they only have 9 know, so if you watch other videos you might see a range of 8-12 members in it. 3. EXO has amazing vocals a huge array of the genres of music they experiment with. For example, "What is Love" is very R&B, while their debut song "MAMA" is pretty rock like. 4. Not seeing a comment on it, but the theme is super powers. This video is tied with another of their songs called "Lucky One", where you see them trying to escape from capture presumably their fictional government. This came after that one and there are a few theories that this video took place with the storyline of one member betraying the group an saving them in the end, though nothing has been confirmed by the company. They have a few videos like this where you'll see them using their super powers with a thematic storyline, similar to the video Ko Ko Bop. As a fan I'm glad you're enjoying the group and appreciating the little things. Its rare people shout out directors or pay so much attention to how they strategically incorporate the use of their clothes/hair/etc for main stream appeal. I would suggest watching Taemin's Thirsty, Drip drop and move. He is considered one of the BEST dancers in kpop...his choreo, his graceful moves, his whole aura is something else.
