First Female Dean of Lichfield

We’re thrilled to share with you the moment when Bishop Michael announced the the next Dean of Lichfield (First Female Dean of Lichfield!) - The Right Reverend Jan McFarlane. The rousing cheers show just how loved Bishop Jan is within our Cathedral community - so much so that we had to cut the clapping short for this video!
Jan will be installed as Dean of Lichfield by the Bishop of Lichfield in Lichfield Cathedral on Saturday 21 September 2024.
