My advice would be to take the carbs apart to verify that the jets/emulsion tubes / idle jets and secondary are all alike & float levels. Also they don't like fuel pressure over 3 lbs.

Thanks Tim. I no longer own this car. Sold her aprox 6 months ago.

The engine receptacle should've been restored before placement of. Engine kicks ass.

Dope man! I’m trying to get mines together. Was the linkage custom or was it a kit?
@Tanks4Tots14 жыл бұрын
It was a kit from Langdons i used this one. www.langdonsstovebolt.com/store/#!/Stovebolt-linkage-kit-for-2-Weber-32-36-carbs/p/108016195

So did your gas mileage go up or down do you use it as a race truck do you go on long rides with it I'm curious I'm thinking of doing that to my stove bolt but it's not gonna be a race car
@Tanks4Tots1 Жыл бұрын
In my opinion you don't put dual carbs on something and calculate the gas mileage. I actually sold that car quite some time ago.
@JohnSmith-qj4cf3 жыл бұрын
I build one with three of them

I would be Ashamed to put that motor in a video, tune it up adjust the carburetors set the points it’s advanced to much
@Tanks4Tots13 жыл бұрын
It was a first start hence not being tuned. LoL. Sold the car over 6 moths ago, so you won't see anymore videos on it from me.

So this is a 235? Looks like a 216 valve cover. This is what my engine looks like from my 53. I don’t know if mine is a 235 or a 216
@samhalbert90712 жыл бұрын
Lot of people use 216 head on a 235 block. It raises the compression ratio up 30lbs/cyl

Daymn this exactly what i want did u put a different cam in it for those carbs?

I have had dual Rochester b and averaged 20 mpg on long trips, it has a t5 trans and 2.73 rear ends. then all of a sudden the mpg drop to 15 on long trips. Do you have what the mpg you get on your setup.
@Tanks4Tots15 жыл бұрын
To be honest I have never calculated the milage... When she needs fuel I fill her up... Lol.
@johnnyacevedojr87433 жыл бұрын
Ron, 20 Miles per gallon it’s about like a Volkswagen, I have a 54 5window, 273 rear also with two ring Saginaw, it takes off great and drops down like you say in fourth, I have a 54 261 motor, Offenhouser two carb intake and Fenton headers & nice glass packs 😎
@ronsteltz75383 жыл бұрын
@@johnnyacevedojr8743 The mileage was all wrong. The truck has a programable odometer. I used mile roads to set it and they are off by 2 tenths or more. I finally got that set correctly and 15 mpg is about it.

They are Carter/Weber Carbs... Same as Weber 32 DFT.
