Love the channel! Great to see a young couple fishing together! I laugh when my buddies talk about how they never get to fish or the wife / girlfriend nags them over how much they spend on tackle. Easy solution.....take her with you. Been married for 35 years and never have had a better fishing or hunting buddy than my wife. Congrats on the new rig, we have had our 20 cat almost 2 years now and its been an absolute shallow water beast. Definitely look into trim tabs they have helped us a lot in the shallow stuff, as well as crossing West Galveston bay and over all ride comfort. Once you get used to it in the turns and the little cat quirks they have you will never switch to a different style hull.

Nice. Can't wait to see the details on that hull. And I hate to be "that guy" but as soon as you turn that motor off trim that boy up out of the way. Every time I forget to do that, I regret it. Looking forward to more videos. I still like my kayaks here in FL, but after adding a skiff, I can do more 2-4 hour quick trips.

I have a SCB Stingray but if I had to own something different it would be a shoalwater cat for sure. Handles chop great and will run in spit. Great choice and a huge congrats!!! Perfect for this area. Love the videos and looking forward to boat fishing vids!
