How does the Pitts compare to the eagle?

They are very different planes. They both do certain things really well. It depends on what you want to do with them

@@alexandercoats I appreciate the reply. I currently fly an RV-6 and have been really getting into aerobatics. I've been thinking of picking up a Pitts (likely S1) or an Eagle but have flown neither. What do you feel the good attributes of each plane are?

@@brandenraftery5074 The S-1S has a better power to weight ratio and is better for competition aerobatics. It’s an awesome plane and I love every minute I’m in it. The eagle is heavier and flys overall better. It lacks a bit of roll rate compared to the S-1, but it can do more gyroscopic maneuvers with the big constant speed prop. I can go on for a while.
