Woot! Congratulations 🎉 It's great when a big project gets finished and it moves under it's own power again. Do you get the, "I sure hope I put everything back together right" or...."now where did all these screws come from?" doubts?

I enjoy your channel I have only watched a few of your videos, I enjoy you them. I own a 1960 Beechcraft Debonair 35-33 with I0-470J. Long story how I acquired but I got a really great deal on it. Formed great relationship with the shop. Which I help them out part time. I am working towards getting my A&P it has been great to be able to work on my plane under the IA. We have a 172 that a client bought it taken apart for 20k we named it Ikea. This client buys 172s that need rebuilt and has us restore them.

Thanks for sharing. I own and fly a 1960 Cessna 172 with a O300D Continental. Just did a top overhaul with 6 new cylinders, I ran full throttle,2700 rpm’s mixture full rich for 2 hours. In your video you said you guys ran 2300 rpm’s, that seems really low for breaking in. But I’m just a pilot, not a mechanic. Keep up the good work!

Airmark overhauled it, and their instructions read 75% or 2400 rpm. For the first hour then 65 to 75% for the second hour. Honestly since they overhauled it i figured it best to go by there instructions in case we had any issues we could possibly get them to fix it under warranty
