Great job both of you! You're taking JR Aviation to cloud 9 now!! 😊 I just had my discovery Flight, it was such a great experience! 😁 I really do hope you can post more of your training. Just keep the camera rolling and forget it's there until you are back on the ground. No need to make any comments for the sake of the viewers as it is already enjoyable to watch and learn! Also, just being able to study the lessons afterwards you can take in more as it is hard to pay attention to everything going on at the same time in the beginning. There was so much going on I felt I had tunnel vision during my first flight! 😅 And you have an excellent CFI.... You are in good hands! This is so exciting that you are finally taking lessons 🙌🎉😄

Good for you guys, you are now learning to fly. And You both did an really nice job (unless there is some bad footage on the cutting room floor) or else the Cirrus is that easy to fly. Good landings and there is just one thing to remember, Airspeed. Pegging your airspeeds makes everything else in flying so much easier. I've had some tough comments for you guys in the past, but you made this look pretty easy, and as said below, you have a real pro teaching you and notice how he controls airspeed and everything is done by the airspeeds. You guys are so lucky (of course you made your luck by hard work). Enjoy. Can't wait to see you both in the left seat of that Bonanza (not at the same time, I hope). As I made have said before I have owned two V35Bs and a B58TC for the last 32 years and when you are flying that F33A, you will be living (and flying) the dream.

I appreciate this style of video and would love for you to post more like this. I am looking to start my dream of learning to fly. I’m trying to decide between two places. One of them uses Cirrus SR20’s. About twice as much and a further away airport, however I think I’m really sold on committing to learn with a cirrus. I feel in the long run it would be better to experience learning in the cirrus as well as this is a busier airport. I’m sure it will take more time but that’s just fine.

I'm just beyond stoked like I'm pumped up to see you & Christian getting into your kick off to being pilots I've been waiting for this well before the JR Aviation channel came into existence tbh😎 I'm an OG follower. I helped y'all know a whole lot of jets in the beginning and tbh I still can. I really hope that I can meet you all in person. I'm planning to become a fighter pilot in the Air Force. It would be cool to have the honor to teach beginner pilots someday ofc once I get my pilot career kicked off. You both are going to be legendary pilots,😎🏆💯🥇I'm going to learn a WHOLE lot. My friends you both look like pilots and are already pilots in the making.🎉

Fun fun times in understanding the dynamics. What a great adventure for all to have and to see. Very safe controlled and monitored for recovery. Always take advice in safety and emergency procedures. Murphies Law that might will happen. Staying ahead from the beginning until the work is completed. Point "A" to part "B". Advice that 3 point harness front seat should be firmly on your lap, ie pelvis low not high up to diaphragm or low rib cage. It's a thought for safety to reduce injury. Understanding the mechanics of injury to all. Onward 🌈 with prosperity.

Nice video. Personally I wouldn’t introduce touch and go landings on the first lesson, but you guys did an excellent job. I would put more emphasis on slow flight and all kinds of stalls and turns. Also ground reference maneuvers would be an advantage to understand. But like I said, very nice landings.

Great job, guys ! I noticed that you tend to focus too much on the instruments, which is a common problem. To overcome this, try blocking them with sticky notes and focus on looking outside. This will give you a better sight picture and make climbing using the horizon easier. Your videos are fantastic, and I hope to have the opportunity to fly with you all one day. It's inspiring to see young pilots like Owen and the rest of you flying such cool planes. I'm only 20, so I hope to get to where you are with hard work and dedication. Keep pushing forward!
@aaronbrown6266
@aaronbrown6266 9 ай бұрын
Developing a good instrument scan is vital. VFR pilots should be approximately 90% outside, 10% inside. I wouldn't recommend putting sticky notes on your instruments until practicing failures. Develop good skills early.

Yep would watch more. If you can perhaps film the landing from close to the runway and swap between plane audio/view and outside view. More editing and somebody has to suffer the heat outside but I think it would make an amazing video to see both perspectives, especially on the landings.

Good video. Both student had seatbelt too loose and high (CFI should have covered proper use). Second student was a little locked on the instruments, but not a problem or uncommon for first flights. Both students handled the plane well IMHO.

Is there any particular reason that you’re not learning how to fly from the left seat? The left seat for the PIC and most places that you rent an aircraft have verbiage stating that you’re not allowed to land from the right seat unless you’re a Flight Instructor
