First flight of model of Japanese Fighter Aircraft Tachikawa KI 94 I, キ94 (航空機)
Original: A twin-boom monoplane, push-pull configuration, wingspan 15 m,
construction year 1943, a wooden 1 : 1 mock up was build only, the project was cancelled. For more information see Wikipedia
Josef build this model aeroplane in eleven month only according to some pictures and a three side view sketch from internet, wingspan 3 meter.

Original: Ein Doppelleitwerk-Eindecker, Push-Pull-Konfiguration, 15 m Flügelspannweite, Baujahr 1943, ein 1 : 1 Holzmodell wurde gebaut, das Projekt wurde eingestellt. Für mehr Information siehe Wikipedia.
Josef baut dieses Flugzeugmodell in nur elf Monaten gemäß einigen Bildern und einer Drei-Seiten-Ansicht vom Internet, Flügelspannweite 3 Meter.

1944年に陸軍省から立川飛行機に試作依頼の高高度戦闘機キ94-1ですね。 実機は高度10000m/750㎞ 実用上昇限度15000m､30㎜機関砲×2門､20㎜機関砲×2門の重武装です。B29迎撃用に試作されました。 設計者は当時27歳の長谷川龍夫技師です。 残念ながら此の機体は陸軍の審査時に後方のプロペラに脱出時､捲き込まれる可能性が有ること、エンジンの製造に難が有ること、そして余りにも特異な機体の為､陸軍省が採用を躊躇った等が理由の様でした。 しかし此の後､立川飛行機と長谷川技師はキ94-2の設計に取り掛かり､終戦迄に２機の試作機を完成させました。 もしもの話ですが､ジェット戦闘機橘花のエンジンが量産されて此のキ94-1の主翼に２基搭載されれば時速800㎞も夢ではなかったかかも知れませんね。 それほど､当時の日本の航空機技術は優れていたと私は思っています✨

Most people don't know that this airplane's design was so superior and so far ahead of its time. The only other airplane with a similar configuration was the Dornier Do 335 by the German military forces. I Love It!!!

The only reason that the Ki 94 II was chosen over this one is because the Japanese Empire (their finance department, their foundries, and their engineers) thought it was too ambitious to proceed with building a whole fleet of aircraft with this particular design. And so they SETTLED for the Ki 94 II.

Würden sie bitte noch etwas über den Antrieb des Modells verraten, ich sehe einen Auspuff aber der Motor ist recht leise, der Frontpropeller ist so leise, als ob er elektrisch angetrieben werden würde. Für mich ist das ein Rätsel. E-Motoren mit Generator, ein Verbrenner und Getriebe? Bitte klären Sie mich auf.
