The first game I loaded into this update really felt like a brand new game. The graphics were stunning and just getting to explore was nice. If you haven't been to the very north boundary between Gas and Train station, you should go up there. You can see a full city in the out of bounds area and it looks amazing

I haven't played Hunt in almost a year now but I've been keeping up with the most recent update. I had a dream last night that I dropped back into a game, but instead of choosing guns before a match, you chose different old-timey science parts to BUILD a weapon, and they were all weird and I couldn't really tell what they did and it wasn't fun at all, and I remember distinctly thinking in my dream "man, I really should have appreciated Hunt more the way it was, those really were the best guns they ever put in a game". Needless to say I'll be reinstalling and spending my whole day off stalking the Bayou. EDIT: Oh damn I can ONLY play Colorado? Wow it's gonna be like everybody's brand new to the game, this is awesome!

Centered Crosshair has made the game better for me. Virtually every other fps game I play uses one. Also seeing more above your gun when aiming down sights is pretty great. I catch more dudes in windows (on this map) than I normally would. On the other maps though. I'll probably go back to the other option.

I get like 130 fps on average but some games there may be a few things I look at that drop it down to like 30 fpsfor no reason and had textures derendering during a gunfight one time.

Nice video again Neenoh. I heared that the death traps, are not so deadly anymore. Is that a bug, or is that by design, you think? Apparently (haven't witnessed it myself) the barbed wire doesn't slow down hunters anymore at the moment, so they don't stay in the poisoned cloud long enough. i have been loving the new update one thing i havnt been enjoying about the new map is it feels twice the size of the other maps with how much elevation there is and how u slow down when u run up and down hills makes many games where u end up running for 15 minutes before finally finding somone following gunshots is also noticably harder as well i find

hunt will whoop everyones ass, but heres a few things that have helped me: - try re-positioning when enemies know where you are - stay moving when shooting if players are looking at you - always heal to full health when you have the time - practice some shooting at the shooting range to get a good feel for aiming but just in general you want to be a hard target to hit, so play your weapons at their strengths (e.g. rifle = keep some range) I feel like theres 100's of tips to share, but best of luck!!

This game looks gorgeous and it looks quite fun but what is the point of the game? Are you hunting monsters with some PVP or are you PVP with the occasional hunting monsters. I would like the game even more if the PVP was clearly secondary to the hunting the monsters.

They main goal of Hunt is to Hunt the one (or sometimes 2) Bounty-Monster and banish them, then after waiting for the banish to be complete you get 2 Bounty Tokens (you can only grab 1 Token per different Boss, so the grab both token from a Boss you need another Player). Other Players can see if a Boss was banished and after they got the Token other Players can then see the People with the Bounty on the Map. To even this out, Player with a token gain a kind of wallhack for a total of 5 seconds for each player (when you Press a button you can see other players near you in Orange). So your main goal is to defeat Bosses and extract with their Bounty. The PvP comes in the way of other People try to get the Bounty for themselfs, so fights for the bounty will happen. You can also decide what you want to do, you could try to be the first on the bounty, so you can defend it (most of the times its a bit easier to defend) or you can wait for other teams to kill the boss for you and you just try to kill them afterwards and steal the bounty from them. I hope i explained it somewhat understandable

The monsters serve to funnel the pvp. So it's pvpve. So you kill the "bounty" and try to leave the map w the token it drops for money and xp. But everyone will also be trying to do the same thing. Very unique and amazing game. Very addicting once you get over the initial learning curve. Best and most underrated fps game imo. Hiiigghhllyyy recommend if you like shooters

technically its point is PvE, in practice many play it for the PvP. The goal is to get the bounty (bounties), no matter how - you can hunt the boss and extract immediately, you can try fighting for the second bounty (if it's on the map), or you can wait for someone to get the bounty and then finish them off and steal it. The game is pretty chaotic - you never know who spawns where and what the teams are (how many duos, trios or solos). I had games when I ran across the map not meeting anyone, took the bounty and left, and I also had games where 9 out of 12 players spawned in roughly the same quadrant of the map, resulting in an uncontrollable mayhem. In summary, it's a hardcore PvPvE extraction shooter that's very tactical and rewards being an asshole, especially in creative ways.

Maybe so, I haven’t had much of an issue with it since I’m the one playing the offensive more often than not (mostly Soul Survivor for practice). The devs and overviews by other Hunt KZbinrs pretty much said that the map was made to where shootouts were supposed to be more chaotic and direct, and we’re all still getting used to that I suppose

Still better than most other games out there.. maybe adjust your settings a bit? I still get frame drops occasionally but for the most part I'm stable 110-120fps. It's been amazing for me so far absolute blast and they did a great job minus some small shit like the UI and a few bugs.

@@cadedario5560 yea there are def spots that you'll lose frames on, but overall once I got my settings adjusted I only loose them in certains spots (mines is one, and the cornfield place) but compared to a lot of other shooters I've played recently I'd still give it a pass. But to each their own. I'm sure they'll roll out more optimizations in the coming weeks

It runs and looks much better than before the engine. You might need to mess with your settings. I will say that any type of the “super resolution” looked hazy and terrible for me compared to having it off. Also at most try turning anti aliasing to the first setting or off, that makes the game blurry too
