What is that big white part called when you took the glove box off and what's the filter thing called above it?!?! My heater isn't working and need to know what's going on with my 2001 Honda CRV

The whole assembly is the the blower motor. The filter is part of it. There can be a lot of different reasons why a heater won't heat, but if the fan works, the blower motor is fine.

It’s not rocket science to replace the filter. It can be done in 15 minutes.

But in a Volvo or Land Rover or Element or Silverado (which are the only other vehicles I've replaced filters in,) replacement is tool-free and takes ninety seconds.
