Oh man! Totally been there. If this is the same as what I am thinking (the trail that has the Lumberman’s Monument), it is insanely beautiful. I haven’t camped there yet, but fully to hike the whole trail again and spend some time camping. Fun video and I appreciate the realness of when things go wrong! Lol!

This trail is just off of Hartwick Pines near Grayling. Idk about camping out along this trail but you can get a site at Hartwick Pines and then hike all the surrounding trails! Let me know when you’re up this way! Thanks for watching.

@@TobiasNeal I absolutely will let you know. I’d really like to get back to Hoist Lakes, really loved that place.

Beautiful scenery, but I'm not ready for all that white stuff. Lol

It all melted this week, sadly. I was looking forward to camping in it next weekend. Although, I’m sure there I’ll be ample opportunities to do some in the coming months! Lol. Thanks for watching.

thanks for sharing :) i'm wondering if it is a good idea to buy ice cleats to wear under the boots when hiking in such conditions ?
