Beautiful! Thanks for taking us out there when we visited -- hoping to walk this trail a bit more in about 2 years 😁

Great hike! I live in that region. Would you be willing to share your start & end points? Dispersed camping is permitted in that section?

It was a fun trail to explore. And the weather was far more snowy than was projected, which made for an interesting (and challenging) trip!

I only hiked once in the snow. It was in the Rogue River State Game Area. Your video reminds me of that hike. Definitely different from a spring or fall hike and beautiful. Thanks for the share.

I was going to ask where you parked, but figured it out when you crossed the road by Hall lake. I have hiked Yankee Springs many times. It is a great place to hike.
@sherriewarner121314 күн бұрын
Yankee Springs is where we had a group hike and they had a fit because we were parked at the equestrian trail, told us we had to leave or they were going to tow all of our vehicles. Those boardwalks can definitely be slick when it’s a little bit rainy outside

I just came across your video, I moved like 1 mile from the M20 trail head 3yrs ago and have never hiked it, which is weird because I love hiking in Tennessee, but after watching your video I'm going to get out there and hike what's literally right in my back yard. Thanks for posting it. Have a blessed week.

White cloud is west MI. I live in Sparta MI now, but for over 20 years I lived in Newaygo county, which consists of White Cloud, Fremont, Newaygo, Grant, and a couple other little towns or places between. It buts up to Kent county which is a very big spread. Where I'm at now is kinda Kent and Newaygo county.

Depends on how far you want to hike each day. I know the Jordan River Valley trail is pretty popular for a weekend trip.

Hey what is your setup for when you go out hiking
@TobiasNeal11 ай бұрын
I typically use a day pack (small backpack of some sort) with snacks, water and a dry bag that contains toiletry, flashlight, lighters and paper and pencil. In the summer I have bug spray and bug netting with me. I usually have a towel and depending on the weather a long sleeve shirt or jacket, extra hat and gloves. If its deep winter, I also have my ice cleats with me to give me traction on icy ground.

This video is absolutely stunning! The vibrant fall colors at Tahquamenon Falls are breathtaking, and the Narnia Trail looks like something out of a fairy tale. I loved the inclusion of the Trolls, it added a whimsical touch to the adventure. This trip through Michigan's Upper Peninsula during peak fall foliage season is a nature lover's dream. Thanks for taking us along on this magical journey, new friend here
