One question I have is why hindi sahitya or hindi literature is UP centric most of the writers come from UP varanasi ,Lucknow etc while hindi is spoken in rajasthan mumbai MP chhattisgarh and many places.

Well, we should hold the same standard towards English. English is a bigger threat to native languages than Hindi.

@@spankaj175 not saying that you do not Hindi. You will need to learn Hindi or the local languages that’s widely spoken in the area. But English has importance through India and outside of India. Sure there are other powerful languages globally but none as important as English. And if you want to take a third, then it’s probably Mandarin or French that’s more important than Arabic or Russian. And in fact, there are people across Europe who not only speak their own language but also English.
