The thing I like About my program is we start off with kiddos at first! So we get a good feel for it..kinda- before seeing adults! :) The good thing is kids don’t know if you mess up as much as adults might.

It's only semester 2 and my first patient is someone I don't personally know. We were supposed to be able to schedule friends and family first but for some reason they filled my first patient slot with a stranger to me and the clinic. 😓😳 Update: patient was a sweetheart but an advance perio patient beyond my skill level. Wasn't able to scale. Will need use of ultrasonic with a year 2 student.
