Great review! I own Artisan Pure and it's such an amazing and unique yet mass appealing fragrance. I remember wearing it once and received two compliments from two different ladies in less then 2 minutes. Very underrated in my humble opinion.

Artisan Pure is a more unique and better-smelling frag. I can see why someone would become bored with it, however. It is a happy go lucky summer scent that is perfect for the gym and on holiday at the beach.

It took me 30 minutes to decide which one to buy at the mall. I ended up getting Artisan but i kept sniffing the part where i sprayed the Pure. I thought i made the wrong choice but after a few minutes the Artisan smelled so good on my skin. No regrets

You can’t go wrong with either. They are both similar in what they are going for. The original Artisan focuses more on the sweet and tart orange while Artisan Pure focuses more on cleaner citrusy white florals. I own both and I love both.

I own Artisan Pure, not my favorite. Don’t hate it, it just makes me feel like I climbed an orange tree and hugged it for a half hour got down and went about my day. Very Orlando, Florida-ish.

My opinion... Artisan pure is soooo good. To me smells very similar to creed silver mountain water. Not exactly but I love and own them both!

Artisan Pure is brighter and has much better sillage…much better. Artisan is richer, more subtle, laid back and doesn’t last as long. I wear Artisan on a summer evening and Pure during a warm summer day.

I got Artisan Pure when it came out and wore the heck out of it that summer. Like you said an outside the line and not so typical citrus woody scent. It smells good in the air on hot summer days.

I reviewed both on my channel too. In summary for me artisan is far nicer, subtle and elegant. Pure is more energetic and loud. I’d go for artisan regardless of the weaker performance. Easier to wear. Sometimes pure can be annoying with the bitter herbaceous elements

I’ve never smelled Artisan but I hope it’s better than Artisan Pure. I sprayed it once on skin and it was a instant “nope” 😂 It’s been sitting on my shelf collecting dust for years now.

Yes Artisan is 100% better than pure. Pure is soooo overated so u maybe go ahead and buy Artisan

Artisan is a more generic citrus fragrance than Artisan Pure. Pure is more unique and interesting. Don't know how Lemon Pledge smells like.

My wife loves artisan pure .. I wear it in the summer . Bad thing about John varvatos fragrances is the performance is terrible. I get like 1h of projection with artisan pure after that its a skin scent .
