I like Cafe Rose with the rose/coffee combination. However, if you are looking for more of a coffee scent, you may want to try Carpe Cafe by Daniel Gallagher. Fantastic coffee scent!

I wonder if the formula has been tweaked since its introduction. I didn't get as much rose as I would have liked when I tested Café Rose at its introduction. I should revisit it based on your review. For a coffee scent, YSL Black Opium edp - yes it's made for women but I think it's very unisex.

Yup: absolutely authentic rose, but rose *bomb*. No cafe, no coffee, nowhere to be found. Not up the street, not around the corner, not across town, not even in the same state. But like all TF's for me, a very sharp, biting scent, quick headache inducer. I was supposed to love this one, ended up hating it. Nothing against rose, at all, just not this way, not this cutting. The rose is incessant and doesn't leave easily. I can't believe any coffee-scent lover would want anything to do with this.

My favorite rose scents are portrait of a lady and wardasina by sospiro , this one is not bad but yr right I don't think it's worth the price tag
