Currently I'm testing Alocasia with him, mine has 1900 Eva and it's working quite well for PvE (Floor 135)! Not the best optimal set, but it's kinda nice xD

so i gave gustang some time on low dupes with anaak giving him energy constantly... he is very strong if he gets to spam his ult since it constantly cycles thru all 3 stages forcing a constant silence knockback and 30% hp dmg (or 200% attack on) which is insanely strong if u comp it with chars like bam and weiß who then get to keep aoe slamming

Was able to get him and Dowon to R5 in around 1800 pulls. Glad I saved up for him as a ftp cause he isn’t too great with low dupes. But now I think I have to focus on getting Edahn, Abelda, and Ayiwha up cause I have them all at low dupes. Doing white with non stop so hopefully can get him to R5 with some luck. But prolly won’t be saving for EX Urek or whoever is next EX, I’m hoping they are a tank that will be good at low dupes!

@sowhat1674 that is a great rate!! At R5 you don't really need to support his damage much, just one frontline unit and then tech units to counter the enemy comp, if needed

Very helpful video. I have a question, does swiftness, resistances and pierces have a cap or can you theoretically have an infinite amount?

@RedEyezXS you can theoretically have infinite amounts of all. Resistances are capped at 99% in effectiveness, so you will always take 1% of the damage, but you can overcap it to protect from pierce and resistance decrease debuffs.

@halcy7339 P3 is good enough, but the extra energy from R3 will come in handy. At the end of the day it depends on how the rest of your account is looking at the moment and what you need to improve it.

@@gabrielemoriconi6120 shinsu from boxes is terrible value, the amount is too low, exp is the best pick since we get most of it from loot exp and we don't have many other source, even though it might not seem like it yet

@@Conowen96 I have a lot of exp saved but always short of shinsu, I don't know if things will reverse going forward(link 680), also now with the addition of the hard mode you can do even more exp than before

@gabrielemoriconi6120 hard mode gives shinsu and coins more than it gives link exp, I was in your situation too, but believe me, you never have enough link exp, soon the cost per upgrade will skyrocket for coins and link exp, but shinsu is basically always the same. A 24h box of shinsu gives you nothing, because they are base on loot exp and from there you get no shinsu 🙏

@lightlicious6619 Gustang is strong without R5, but I'd say Dowon is better if you cannot get Gustang to R3/O4. If you are below 900 pulls I'd go Dowon, if you are above then maybe Gustang, as you still have time to put together the remaining pulls.

@septal2122 if you cannot afford R3 I wouldn't pull for him. Every milestone is going to make him better, but I'd say the stops are 0 dupes, G1 (passive upgrade), G3 (atk% for easier linking to Anaak/Narae), R3 (for energy), O4 (for Revo 4), R5

@kirito-dd3om it is good if you want to invest in some of the next SSR+ units, but O4 and R5 are way better and worth it. I'd say, try to push as much as you can in these 2.5 weeks with R3 and try to have Gustang earn enough tickets for his own R5 🙏

Ik this was a first impression, but would you say that rainbow 5 traumerei is better than rainbow 5 gustang?

@spritezero2304 we cannot really compare them, they shine at different things and against different enemies. Both are op and more than capable of carrying. Traumerei carries against shields and ATK buffers, Gustang can delete anyone that is not immune to status effects and his damage is higher. Traumerei survivability is better than Gustang's overall.
