@@danielmacwan mujhe uske baray pata nehi, lekin post takeover all the planes bought by Air India are new. Which after 5-6 years or as per agreement with Leesors will be given back. Baki all airlines operate on the same "Buy-Sell-Lease back" model. That is buy aircraft in bulk, at time of delivery sell to leesors & lease the same aircrafts with a lock in period of around 5.5Years. I am not sure what was Air India model when it was government run, but currently this is the model. I am not sure of the complete veracity, but when I started off in Aviation, Qatar Airways had two Aircrafts & most others in Gulf operated on single digit fleet size. Even then Air I dia had Boeing 747-400.

Vidyarthi bhavan for masala dosa (queue starts at 6am), And the best Lengendary MTR tiffins at Basavanagudi. There are many, but the list I posted is within the radius of 10kms.

BTW vistara is not a low cost airline like you say, but a full service airline . The best in india at the moment. It is owned by TATAs and Singapore airlines.and will be merged with the new air india by end of 2024. LCC do not give you free meals but it is sold.
