I really love the less trodden part of Malaysia by tourists. Usually have the most authentic people and food

That is the beauty of small in Malaysia, the atmosphere reminded me a lot of the times my parents growing up in. I have yet to go Sarawak. This is on my to do list for quite some time 😊 Hope I can resume my traveling

Thanks for your honest vlog. Am planning a trip there soon, do share if you have any recommended nice and local food places to visit! PS. I also can't seem to find on the map the "char kuey tiao" place you went in the video. Any idea where it is near to?

The mee chiang kuay seems to be a famous food when I watched other people vlog that feature BP. To be frank, I didnt do a good food research as I packed up that place on a very last minute. You can refer to @CKology who definitely gives a much better introduction of the food scene there :)

It's called BP by the locals. But my friend from kl says BP = boring place 😅. True, at night the town is very quiet, it is the outer suburban towns that are active at night, such as Taman Bukit Pasir has a new town there with lots of places to eat
@UncleGo6 ай бұрын
I heard of chinese youtuber calling this place - "Ba Tu" or "Ba fu". I cannot really make up which one. BP's suburban towns are not easy for tourists. For me, the restaurant at Jalan Rahmat is already very chill for someone who does not have a vehicle. 😄

You video the back alley I used to play badminton as a kid! Still looks the same. Last time I was back in BP was 2019. I missed BP and the food! Whats the name of the hotel that you say is more expensive than the one you stayed?
@UncleGo Жыл бұрын
Prior to getting my room at Hotel V, there are a couple of rooms I surveyed. They are Hotel V (at city center) and Hotel Bas. I eventually the other Hotel V (another location) that is cheaper and not too far from city center. Is the back alley the one with lots of wall murals? or another one which only have a flash appearance? So when is your last time back to BP?
@Yen-v5d Жыл бұрын
@@UncleGo 11.27 min is the back alley. 16.57 what hotel? BP has changed so much!

@@Yen-v5d somehow a gush of sadness hit me when I saw your reply. It reminded me the time I stayed at the shop houses (somewhat like yours) along Bencoolen Street . The place got torn down and there are times that I go back to that vicinity to think of the times there. I hope video camera invented during those times to bring back some fond memories
