Looks nicer than the Rugged (which I also own). Appears to have a larger and backlit screen. Seems like "brand name" radios keep lowering the bar. I have a ancient DX3R pro, bought the DX5 rugged thinking it was an upgrade.. ahhh NO. My go to Futaba is out for service (I dropped it).. repair is more than the DX5 rugged purchase price.., (SMH)...

can i still use my V1 receivers? i bought a V2 and it doesn't bind with my 4ch receiver. haven't tried with the other 6ch receivers. should have checked first before getting the V2 and selling my V1. :-(

Only what, $10 for for the FlySky? That GT5 is a steal. That’s probably a good comparison rather than stock vs the RadioLink! I had to drill out a hole on my FlySky to attach a clip. Def annoying.

The radiolink tx is 1 million times better than ANY spektrum available. IMO. I owned both the 4 & 6 channel. 7ch reciever at $20, micro 4ch (enduro & scx24), std 4 & 6 ch recievers $15 (with & without gyro)👍

@@RCPropaganda UNfortunately, I had to leave radiolink & go back futaba. After emailing ares, the radiolink recievers are NOT recommended for any type of GAS rc vehicles. Ok for electric & nitro, but not gas. I emailed after my 42 pound 5th scale rampage xt "ran away". It was only for a second, but still scary AF!
