Hi Curtis! I feel Encens Suave is a very manly fragrance. The coffee note for me is very prominent. It’s interesting that you compared to Vanagloria which I also own and love. Now I want to find my sample and smell it 😊

You are so right! Now I got this babycat vibe! I’ve had this sample of Encens Suave since it’s launched and had only sprayed a couple of times. I totally get the similarities but ES has dryer cedar wood to my nose. I think I actually love ES a bit more now comparing on my skin! Sampling is also fun 🤩

ES was my favorite pickup in 2023. Fantastic evening scent, and as you say, Fall/Winter fragrance. Performs well, smells amazing. (for the record, my next two favorites of 2023 were Secret Tryst and TF Noir Extreme Parfum.) I don't think I'd wear any of these three as a daily office scent, they are a bit much and could annoy office mates.

If i have to compare it with something, i would compare it with margiela - by the fireplace. Awesome longevity and projection, i have or i had most of matiere premiere fragrances, the house is awesome. Try vanille powder, should be awesome for weather in japan

Have you ever sampled Ebene Fume by Tom Ford? If you have would you say Ecens Suave is similar to that? I'm thinking about getting this but don't want to buy it if it's just like Ebene Fume

Encens suave vs ROYAL incense..which one do you like more?

Hi! I personally prefer Royal Incense. Royal Incense has a geranium note in it which comes off quite rose like on my skin. They are both quite nice though for sure, but Encens Suave would be a bit redundant for my collection I think.

​@@CurtisNose Thanks for the info, Curtis! Since Royal has that sweet honey/rose profile, would you say Encens Suave comes across as a bit more earthy, even with the vanilla? I’m curious which of the two leans a bit more toward a gentlemanly vibe, given they’re both unisex. For instance, if I were taking a walk on a late fall day in the Scottish Highlands, decked out in classic Ralph Lauren knickers- which one would be the pick, my friend?

@scent1test That is a difficult question for me to answer, however Encens Suave might push slightly more masculine, but still very unisex. With Encens, the incense is quite intense, so you must really enjoy that. The incense has a more dominant presence on my skin than Royal does. Hope that helps.
