As far as my game changers I’d have to say that Dior Homme Intense was a standout. I rotated between Dior Homme and Dior Homme Eau based on the season and decided to blind buy DHI and immediately fell in love. Because of DHI I became more curious about other fragrances starting with designers and gradually moving into niche brands.

You prefer Sultan Vetiver to Incident Diplomatique?
@CurtisNoseКүн бұрын
Hi David! Both of those fragrances are masterpieces in my opinion. However, Sultan Vetiver just slightly edges out the win. With that said, I do go back and forth between those 2 sometimes. I guess it really depends on my vibe and mood. Both are outstanding though. Thanks for stopping by.

Could you state what the price range of these fragrance are?
@CurtisNose4 күн бұрын
Hi Joe! I paid full retail for 4 out of the 5 fragrances. I got Baraonda from Maxaroma for a great deal. I would suggest always buying from discounters when possible. Sometimes fragrances aren't on discounters so I need to pay the full price. For those fragrances, I purchased all of them from Luskyscent. Are you familiar with these 2 sites?
@joecochran77974 күн бұрын
@@CurtisNose - I wasn't asking where you bought them. I was asking what the price of these fragrances were just to give me an idea if they were affordable for my budget.

I see. The majority of them are in the $200-$250 ball park range. Some might be slightly higher or lower, but around there. Hope that helps.

Curtis, as a newer subscriber to your channel, have you ever shown your collection on video? Just curious? Or does that not appeal to you? Also, do you speak Japanese as well? Sorry about the questions. About fragrances, I picked up Un Air D’ Apogee this Spring and I absolutely love it as well, one of my best purchases of the year. I had never heard of the house of D’Orsay, you always bring something unique to the audience that isn’t heavily featured on all the fragcomm channels, which is why I enjoy your content. Happy (American) Holidays and best wishes. God Bless.

Hi Nate! I have never shown my collection on video before. I have just never thought about doing it honestly. Yes, I do speak Japanese. I've been living in Japan for about 13 years now. I cannot believe how fast the time has flown by! Un Air D'apogee is such a lovely one. The whole house of Violet is really quite nice in my opinion. D'Orsay is definitely a house to look into if you are not familiar with them. They do offer some really lovely fragrances. I really appreciate your kind words and support.

@@CurtisNose Flower Lust is great. A nice unisex yet feminine leaning woodsy, spicy, floral with similarities to Tonka Hysteria due to its prominent note of Tonka. Incense Crush is an acquired taste as it begins a little sharp with the significant amount of Incense and Clove, much like a wildfire I'd dare to say, but as it begins to mellow, it starts to envelope you in this cool vetiver that is also somehow very warm and almost creamy even, due to the fragrances end notes of cardamom and sandalwood. - This one has actually become my signature fragrance for this season, and even a top contender for my favorite of all time. Not for everyone, and it's one you have to be very aware of as it'll easily overtake a room within the first hour or so of its lifespan and not in a necessarily pleasant way for anyone who can't handle this smokeshow of a fragrance. But for those who can...it's a true beauty, and it really becomes something absolutely lovely over time.

Vanagloria is a fantastic perfume. I've just finished my 10 ml decant and ordered my first bottle. As for Masque Milano, I've never experienced Russian Tea, but I own a bottle of Mandala: it's such a joyous and bright fruity incense. I love it, and I'm surprised it's not much talked about. I usually wear it in winter. It's one of those fresh scents (like Creed Royal Mayfair) that I find to be in perfect harmony with the cold, instead of using used to combat the summer heat.

I recently picked up a bottle of Obscurus by Profumo di Firenze. It's a woody incensey fragrance that is perfect for fall and winter. Not quite a blind buy, since I did smell it in the shop and sprayed it on skin, but close enough to a blind buy. That said, it's a great fragrance.
