Can we tweak the EQ and get some more bass out of them without any major distortion on the clarity?

Hey Lalit! I’ve read a few posts about a few different tweaks that people have done to the T2’s to help with the mid bass. I haven’t tried any of them myself yet as I don’t mid the stock sound. Check out the r/headphones forum on reddit and search for tin T2 EQ and I’m sure you’ll find a few options. Good luck!

Hey I don’t know if you still read comments on this video but I’m planning on buying a pair and I mainly listen to rap and like to focus on the lyrics in songs, sometimes the instrumentals drown out the lyrics and wondering if these headphones have this issue?

Hey Dennis! I don't listen to too much rap but do enjoy hearing great lyrics especially on classic songs. I have never had any difficulty hearing the lyrics with the T2's and I think that's because they lack a bit in the low end. I find bass tends to take away form most lyrics and the Tin headphones tend to lack the bass. I'd suggest checking out badguygoodaudio's KZbin channel. He tends to listen to hip hop but speaks highly of the Tin's amongst other brands in the same price range.

feelsbadman I just recently ordered from AliExpress these same iems. It’s been about a week and I’ve to wait more. I would literally go mad if the cable dies on me and then I’ve to wait another month to get a cable. I haven’t ordered an extra cable and now I think I should. Even after all the revisions the cable still feels unreliable. Do you have a newer unit?

Hey Tushar!! I ordered mine in the beginning of May so not sure if that means I have a newer unit or not. Any particular way to tell? With regards to cable I completely understand and I was pretty upset when I discovered the cable had gone so quickly. On the bright side, MMCX cables aren't too expensive and get them form loads of online retailers. I actually just got my Yinyoo 6 core cable yesterday and have been testing it out. I'm hoping to post an updated video next week on the status of my warranty claim and a first look at the backup cables I ordered. It typically takes 2 - 3 weeks for me to get my orders form Aliexpress so not too bad, but if you are in a hurry you could always spend a bit more money and purchase from amazon.

There was a reddit post about it but I'm unable to find it right now. Older models had a darker gunmetal color with a cable that had white opaque mmcx connectors. Newer models have the translucent connectors. There are some units with a yellowish hue to the transparent connectors on the cable. Some people claimed that the bass has been improved in the newer versions.

Hey Tushar!! Thanks for the reply. I seem to remember reading that reddit post as well. I’m not sure about the T2’s themselves as I have nothing to compare the metal colour to. However according to that cable description I have a new cable! Which means, I may have gotten a faulty one or maybe the stock cable is still pretty poor quality. Ultimately cables can be replaced which is better than having attached cables IMO. No harm in having a backup.

Hi I am planning to buy one of these and they say its awesome. But numerous reports also claims that the cables comes with it are shit. Thankfully they are some cheap alternative cables online that can easily fix that issue. Btw can you do a sound demo with that? Thanks and more power to your show :)

Thanks for the comment Death Cold!! I just got my back up cable from Aliexpress and will do an updated video on the cable once I have a few more days with it. Out of curiosity are you asking for a sound demo of the Tin's T2's with new cable or simply just a sound demo of the T2's?

@@BenGeldreich I don't think there will be a difference in sound with different cables except for a bad one but Yes I asking for a actual sound demo of the T2's once you fixed that issue if you don't mind :)

I don't think so either, but wanted to make sure that's not why you wanted a sound demo! I don't have the appropriate equipment to do a proper sound demo for headphones. Not yet anyway. Out of curiosity why do you like sound demos? I don't really understand the appeal which is why I asked.

@@BenGeldreich So you can't, thats ok for me :) btw I know that sound demos doesn't give you accurate representations of the actual unit but some good sound demos like in the zreviews and other channels can give you a points at least in the clarity and the sound signatures as well :)

I’ve placed my order about a week ago. They have undergone many revisions. The latest ones come with a better cable now. You don’t need to buy a cable unless you really want to.
