I was intrigued when you mentioned about the wheel card so I looked up the symbolism in the “big book of angel tarot” which is a great resource to really learn about these cards. It goes really in depth. It notes the four elements on the wheel are also on the magician belt and represent that we have the resources necessary to make changes in our lives (directions of our lives)... totally cool! I’m glad I got the big book because it has so much information that I had no idea about. I also noticed the cards that have colors (some of the water cards and wand cards) are discussed in the book how they related to the associated chakra. I was attracted to orange in the five of wand card and that talks about self worth. Great video 🦋🌼🌸🌷

You pretty much summed up how I feel about the deck. I think it sticks to the traditional meanings a whole lot more closely than some people are willing to give it credit for. Pretty much the main reason I gave this deck to my mum is because I don't like the artwork and I knew she'd enjoy it more than I would. But I do read it with her sometimes, and I think it works perfectly fine. I can't wait to see how the readings go tomorrow :) x

+Katey Flowers I agree, I feel the traditional meanings are there in the artwork that sometimes works against it but I feel I came to an understanding with it and certainly wouldn't have any issues pulling it out for someone when it was right :)

The "el" at the end of an angel's name is pronounced like the el in El Goliath. It means "of God"

Enoch is my birthday angel and yes he is Enoch ascended and also the grandfather of Moses in the egnostic scriptures. The only reason I affirm that he is archangel metetron is because I work with archangels they have very high frequency and yes I'm a witch. The more people get away from some false beliefs feed to society people will have less issues working with the angels.

Holding my tongue on this deck...even though I own it and PowerAngel & one other bright & shiney guilded Angel deck they just stay in their nice sturdy boxes and (for me) can't compete with the other decks that offer a more open attitude for shadow & light I'd like to see this deck completely trimmed :D

Thanks for the video. Imho ... this deck shows some issues I have with the body of Doreen Virtue's work: The cards are not meant to be reversed. There's a focus on self-redemption with a lot of "do & don't". Harsh truths are somewhat hidden (like in the case of the tower, the devil and the hanged man cards here). I still suppose this to be a quite readable deck. One just has to use the key words (and the guidebook) as inspirations ...

El means God, so the names are likely pronounced like Joff-I-el. (Angel names are usually something like "servant of god," voice of God, etc.)

Not my kind of deck, but actually not as bad as some of the hysterical hostility towards a lot of Doreen Virtue's decks seem to be suggesting. When some others seem to be objecting to her definition of "tarot", my gripe with her decks is mainly around her conceptualization of "God" and "angels". From where I stand, I feel she belittle them by implication (not by design I don't think). Thanks for sharing!

Oh goodness, you were far kinder about this deck than I would have been. I have issues with DV and her decks. I think this one is a big 'ol mess. You've got the angels as majors, reusing names and artwork. Then you get a bunch of mythical/fantasy creatures for the minors and within those, a mix of pips and illustrated. Not to mention all of the text, the borders being all different sizes and the fluffy, Hallmark, white washed images. It kind of makes my skin crawl...sorry! I know that's a bit strong but it's the reaction it provokes. Thank you for going through the deck, I did stick it out to the end of the video but it only confirmed my feelings about it. I'll be interested to hear what you think about it six months from now and whether you've used it much. x

+Kelly Bear :) Love your name! As for your reaction to the deck, no need to be sorry about it, it's your reaction and your feelings on it so that is valid for you. I actually loved the mythical creatures for the minors, so that was a plus for me :) There are definitely inherent problems in the deck, the reusing of image pieces being one of them, but while the art is not for me, I did about 15 readings with it so that I could give it a fair shake and I have to say that I was able to comfortably give supportive readings without any hassle once I just let it be what it was. I don't foresee using it very much, but most of my more nurturing decks are like that. They come out once in a blue moon, but when they do, it's to great affect for someone who needs it, I expect that to be the case with this deck :)

I definitely would, I've been meaning to do a quick reading roulette video because I enjoy watching them, so it might be something I incorporate now and again unless I completely bomb at this style of reading :D I'm a rambler so quick fire might be my downfall!

Hello Kimberly, traditionally Justice is at 8 and Strength is at 11, Arthur Waite swapped the two when he made the Rider Waite Smith deck to fit into the Golden Dawn's astrological associations, but for hundreds of years before that it was Justice at 8 :D
