NOTE: This is not a complete game. You need the Mutant: Year Zero core game to use this book. The Mutant: Mechatron core book is also useful, but not required.
Through the tiny portholes of the space capsule, you see the city hanging weightlessly beneath the stars - massive, sprawling, gleaming. A myriad of metal shapes connected by tubes and wires, like a huge hanging mobile over Earth, the poisoned cradle of humanity.
The thrusters of your capsule push you onward through the maze of wires and ladders. Drawing closer, it becomes clear that there is something wrong with this star city. You float past large holes, torn wires, and cracked satellite dishes. It seems the Apocalypse reached all the way to the heavens.
Ad Astra is a thrilling campaign module for Mutant: Year Zero that takes the player characters from the devastated surface of Earth into orbit, out into the solar system, and perhaps further still. Ad Astra can be played stand-alone or as a direct continuation of the Path to Eden campaign in the Mutant: Year Zero core rulebook.
The book also includes rules for playing Mutant: Year Zero in space and an overview of the solar system with ideas for further adventures.

Thanks Paco! Quite curious myself about this, so it's nice to see your quick pagethru. It's on my 'complete the set' list anyway - lol - but (like you) I really liked the first three books. Still haven't played the fourth, Elysium, but when I learned of this it seemed they'd make quite good companions for each other. This book does appear a little thin however, especially by comparison with the other books. It's not got many more pages than The Gray Death adventure book, which seems incongruous considering the vastness of the expansion into space. Maybe there'll be an adventure to expand it with some ships and shuttles etc…? My Mutant Year Zero - Zone Wars (skirmish game) boxes should be arriving today, so I'm certain I'll be excitedly distracted from my schedule and diving into those - then doing the shelving shuffle to fit more in the house!

I wonder if this is thinner because, in reality, Space is just an adendum. I wonder what the Eden campaing will end like and how much of it will be in Space...

@@GMSMagazine I have only played the videogame that I understand follows really close the source material. So without spoilers I can the say the ending is gonna be worth your while. I'd love to find a group willing to try these games.
