that buffet place you passed by looks very familiar, I'm wondering if it's the same place that Mark Wiens went to, your video makes me want to visit Thailand cause I loooove Thai food
@Nishinos2 жыл бұрын
haha and you would be right! Both Mark Wiens and also Sonny visited that buffet! I'm sure you would love it here in Thailand. The food is amazingly cheap and it tastes soooo good!

2:55 - its interesting that they are under a bridge, so, they stay dry but dont pay for their own building. im sure they pay some sort of fee for the space, but i wonder who takes the money, hmmm, very interesting. the noise and gas smells would be rough on the venders though but fun for the customer.
@Nishinos2 жыл бұрын
thats a good question haha I been thinking the same as well as to who they are paying to stay there. But many people seem to like that place since its cheap food haha. I do agree that the noise and gas smell can be rough haha

Hey Wayne!! Amazing video man! I was super excited to see this segment of your journey and man day 1 looked like it was a blast!! Amazing and generous food vendors and wow holy smokes even that Michelin star vendor! Minus the tuk-tuk dudes that tried to rip you off lol this was amazing! It’s insane at how crowded everything was from the streets to the temple.

at 0:55 - im not sure but it looks like a memorial of some sort. maybe a recent death? as i wouldnt think that would be the final resting place, if in fact, that was a memorial? please reply back if you found out, later, what that is?

haha apparently its just the picture of the current king. I asked a local and they said that all around Bangkok they'll be pictures of royal people.

omg, me again.. but the more comments, the better, as youtube loves comments right? so, i would have a heart attack riding in that little buggy, but i would have offered 1/2 to each person, and who ever wants money vs no money, would get the job. vs letting them pick a lower price for me. ok, back to the video.
@Nishinos2 жыл бұрын
haha yess! KZbin loves comments and I always enjoy your insights =) As for that little buggy, I have to say it was definitely a wild ride haha pretty fun and nice to ride in. But only problem is they overcharge almost all the time haha so its prob better to ride an uber (Grab in Thailand).
